I'm plat3 in standard. When will straight up driving to ball in kickoffs start to hinder my progress. Haven't happened yet. I would actually say that my kickoffs create way more goals to my team that we concede.
@@Irevoltnow I’d say when you get to diam you’re def gonna need to do some kind of flip (just a front flip or diagonal works). Although if you feel like you aren’t losing kickoffs because of it then just keep doing it I reckon

Nobody ever said, that powerslide is for freestylers, that the default binds are good, that 3v3 is the best mode for improving, that coaching is only for pros, that warm up's don't matter (like wtf), back post is just for low ranks or not to demo in ranked.

@@rac1staok because I am struggling at speedflips, maybe it will help hit buttons more precisely. r1 is air roll right but I only use are roll left on l1. so let's see. :) thanks!
@@paranormalbirdman i do speed flip to the left. While doing I just press the neutral air roll that is on L1, and it works. There is literally one and only video on my channel me hitting the speed flip, it was year ago, now I'm better.
@@SaltyDirtBlock no not rlly u hit it o to their corner and now u have pressure up field hopefully ur faster than ur opponent and if not just fake and rotate back and if ur faster try pinching it to the wall into the middle and then rotate back either way as a gc2s there are sum that don't speed flip on kickoff and that's what I do Everytime if they too slow I either hit it to the side , slow my kick off to match theirs or kill the ball by using my stomach and then lastly what I just told u hitting it into the corner or to the side depending on how much slower they r
The air roll reducing knockback is scewed. When he got the knockback his nose was still up just a bit. As opposed to using the air roll his nose was pointed more towards the ball. A minor thing but it would change the result at the very least by a little. Not a 1-1 comparison.

@@DatGuyArad Just remembered that I've played with Diamond 3's and it sometimes was problematic there.
I still see mfs in champ just driving at the ball. And I have to adapt to it. It's annoying, but can still be worked around.

Weirdly enough wavedash kickoffs are very consistent for me despite knowing I shouldn't really wavedash on kickoff
Just frontflip. It is 2x quicker. Even driving is faster

since i started playing i couldnt fat finger boost and jump. i remapped boost to R1, give it a try, if you dont like it change to something else.
