Personally I think gaming phones are quite useless, let me explain: Gaming phones are a niche in the smartphone industry and they provided very small performance boosts over normal flagship smartphones. Anyone who can afford to buy this phone is likely very serious about mobile gaming. However, anyone who's serious about mobile gaming likely knows that most of the pros (yes there are pro mobile gamers) normally use an iPad. An iPad provides you with better performance than any phone or android tablet, and they have much larger displays, which is an incredible advantage especially in games like Call Of Duty Mobile. OEMs should definitely consider switching from making gaming phones to making gaming tablets, which I'm sure will make a lot of hardcore mobile gamers very happy. I probably could have explained that better but I've never been really good at explaining things🤷🏽♂️
You won't see these on standard phones: 1 - Built-in shoulder triggers. 2 - Conveniently placed USB-C ports for landscape gaming 3 - True Stereo speakers 4 - Peripherals 5 - Better cooling system to prevent throttling 6 - many more, im too lazy to continue typing lol
10 years ago, gaming laptop was a joke. a laptop back then get stomp on by even the shittiest desktop. And now... well i dont think i need to give evidence It does not matter that there is no proper uses as of now. This genre can only be considered useless if they has no application whatsoever in any given time. But who know what the future hold? I will not surprise that in years to come there will be external GPU for phone. Considering that apple are shifting their high performance part of ecosystem (which require dedicated gpu) to ARM, which is the same as phone chips
Well the problem is that in competitions ipads and tablets are banned bc of the big screen that give advantage over other players (yes they are really good players on ipad but the rules is to have an standard when it comes to competitions)

Where to buy ROG 3 16GB 512gb?
Does it have 5G though?
Personally I think gaming phones are quite useless, let me explain:
Gaming phones are a niche in the smartphone industry and they provided very small performance boosts over normal flagship smartphones.
You won't see these on standard phones:
1 - Built-in shoulder triggers.
2 - Conveniently placed USB-C ports for landscape gaming
3 - True Stereo speakers
4 - Peripherals
5 - Better cooling system to prevent throttling
6 - many more, im too lazy to continue typing lol
Clearly you haven't witnessed the Nvidia shield tablet
10 years ago, gaming laptop was a joke. a laptop back then get stomp on by even the shittiest desktop. And now... well i dont think i need to give evidence
It does not matter that there is no proper uses as of now.
@@khangle6872 and on top of that amd is working with samsung to make better gpus so who know maybe amd ends working with qualcomm, and fun fact adreno was own by amd and is an acronym of radeon
That phone is more powerful than my PC
Stop telling history... We want to know about the phone...
Testing video please..
Great video Awesome ROG 3 Build Asus 👍💖👌
This phone would be fantastic if it had an memory slot and a headphone jack
i know Android authority will give me a love react after read my comment 😅
What is the damn price?
compares S20 Ultra to ROG 3 ...Ultra has better overall display , significantly better camera , water and dust resistance , wireless charging , wireless power sharing , better build quality
About the built quality are the same, this one has a lot better speakers, faster screen, bigger battery, better processor, presure sensors as triggers, it doesn't have bloatware so each phone has its nich
Is there a way to change the launcher? I cant set up nova launcher
Nice review
Can we get this vs black shark 3 pro please?
Peeeeerfect for xCloud gaming.
Verizon ?
Please don't compare ROG 3 with S20 U, at least not for SD version at least, for Exynos
Meh, well that sucks
removing the physical headphone jack is a dealbreaker for me
they gave you a dongle, an adaptor to the standard headphone jack, of course, its just a band aid solution. but anyway if you can carry the cooler with it (with actual headphone jack), dongle is no problem.
my problem is more on aesthetic, rog3 design is a bit lackluster compared to rog2, which is on its price spec, is the only real problem you'll have above anything else.
What is dongle
headphone jack adaptor, just google for image. in rog3 case, from usb-c type cable to standard head set, its just a small item.
@@luy240 ouh thanks
@@luy240 every phone that has done away with the headphone jack has adapters. they are NOT as sturdy and its something you have to carry with you. the inconvenience is unacceptable for the price of the phone.
They put 2 usbc but not a headphone jack wtf
in 2020 y'all still crying over no headphone jack well then
great review! and you should fix your AC haha your sweeting balls!
Anyone knows what's the background music?
