Garebeg Besar Keraton Yogyakarta June 2024

Hajad Dalem Garebeg Besar is an annual tradition of celebrating Hari Raya Idul adha that has always been preserved by Keraton Yogyakarta until now. Whereas the Gunungan("mountains") are the symbol of the king's alms to the people and at the same time the form of gratitude of Keraton Yogyakarta.
Keraton Yogyakarta distributed a Kakung "Mountain" to Pura Pakualaman as a network of Hajad Dalem Garebeg Besar 1445 H/Year of Jimawal 1957. Kakung Mountain is one of the mountains of Hajad Dalem Garebeg Besar Keraton Yogyakarta.
Like the previous organization of Hajad Dalem, the people can participate to get the mountain medicine portion that will be distributed in the grounds of the Gedhe Mosque and Pura Pakualaman. While for the Training Complex and Immersion of Mangkubumen are distributed each to receive a total of 50 medicines until the mountains are formed.
