Underpowered mini pc’s have been a thing for a very long time. The only thing different about these is a decent included controller and a super cheap display panel.
@@YannisMoraitis-fc3hu when you touch the screen on a device playing bedrock other than a phone, the extra ui elements will still appear cause they’re hard coded into bedrock.
im exicited for steamOS especially on the zotact zone i hope they figure out a way to make it accessible for all portable handheld but knowing its there brand system im sure there a contract invovled!
they should make one with two nvme drives so when you boot it you can pick windos or steam os every time you boot, obviously it would cost more and they would probably need to design a custom bios (if possible) which would allow for more flexability whilst keeping a good ui look
Personally I would go with the windows version and then dual boot Bazzite os, it would give me way more flexibility and the benefits of both operating systems
SteamOS anytime. Yesterday my windows Pc randomly just lost the bluetooth icon from the system tray. And then returned back at night as I left it alone. I don’t want such surprises while either I am gaming or working. MacOS and SteamOS 🙌🙌
until you realise windows 11 is made to be navigated with a keyboard and mouse, which you don’t want to carry around with you when you’re going for portability. it’s not a problem on the clamshells with built in keyboards (win mini and neo flip) but be warned anyway
No.. just no, their navigation is only good on Xbox because they are greedy to not make it work on literally any other controller rather than their newest Xbox controllers and there's so much aorse
Hey, I know this might be hard to do right now, but I have an odd request. I haven’t built a pc yet, but I’ve been saving up to do so. Can you recommend some parts to make a 5070 build? I have about 400-500 ish dollars for the rest of the build, not including the case (I already have an old one from a cousin). Or should I put more of the budget into the card, getting like a 5070 ti or something else entirely?
600 wat power supply a asus tuf b650m motherboard and 16 gb ram 2*8 if you want you can use a 32 gb ram with atleast a ryzen 5 7600 this is for ddr 5 ram but depending where you live the asus tuf motherboard might not be available
I wouldn't really call these PCs tbh, since you can't upgrade anything outside of the SSD as far as I know. I'd love to see a new form of PCs rising where you could buy a frame (with the panel and the joysticks and such), a motherboard, a CPU/APU, GPU, RAM and SSD. Granted, I don't know what the exact technical limitations are to these, but it would be so cool seeing this happen IMO.
While i personally (long time linux gamer) would get the steamos one for performance and boot speeds, i really don't know why an average consumer wouldn't go for the windows one. it's more familiar and no troubleshooting.
If Steam OS is stable & capable, that's the one that makes the most sense if you want to be a little bit more secure. Don't think they'll scrape data like MS! But the most sales will probably decide. & won't necessarily be the best!
people say that u need like 600 or 700 to get a good pc but i built a 450$ gaming that has specs that can play like every and minimum and most at recomended
My question is does the color bring dependant on the operating system even matter? If you want one, but with the other operating system, then just install it. If they release both, then valve or lenovo will most likely have a way to reinstall the steamos, and you can then just use it on whichever color you had.
I'll personally take windows version over steamOS That way It has a lot more use cases other than gaming alone (not to mention what if you don't want to only use steam for your games)

Hey I need some opinions. I’m thinking about getting a Ryzen 7 9800X3D (possibly Ryzen 9 9950X3D) and a GIGABYTE RTX 5070Ti for some 1440p gaming. I don’t know what motherboard to get, but I need some more help with this. Like what motherboard, what case it should fit in, what AIO I should get, and some other stuff. *my budget is around $2600 but can be more if needed*
You could definitely go 4k if your budget allows that monitor. As for the motherboard id look at the ASUS ROG Strix X870E-E WiFi. Reviews say it's great. I don't have too much aio experience but you can't really go wrong with a reputable brand. If you live near a micro center you can ask someone there to help you choose parts given your budget. If you don't there is still plenty of resources from just googling "best aio for Ryzen 7 9800x3d". Hope this helps!
I have the asus ally and its not that bad. People blow it out the water. Also if its touch screen then you're good. I have no issue with mine. But I suppose it comes down to personal preference which is awesome that so many devices are coming out
