Evan, I myself am a producer and I must ask, how did you recreate the synth that's layered with many of the lead guitar sounds in the ost? I would love to know if possible, ty.
Wow! Its awesome that you can notice that so quickly! Well the synth sound itself isnt hard to recreate, its a pretty standard synth and most synths you can find in soundbanks sound similar. The key is so really turn donw the volume on those and pan them stereo. Also its import to let them play the same melody as the main guitar but make all the notes play the whole length and leave no holes timing wise, which the guitar usually has. Besides playing the same melody, layer one synth track one octave above the main melody and a second one (50% of the volume of the previous one) and let that play even one octave higher. Thats how i do it!
