Everybody in Greece called me Poseidon because I look a lot like that statue in Athens of him.. I don't eat chocolate and don't drink alcohol. Yet I would be delighted to give you next 7 years as safe as possible with all the adventures you are going for and that you share with all in such nice way!
This what is great - is that you are more or less natural, you are justr yourself. Your movies are not over-edited :), and you are trully sailing! For the matter of anchor and cable issue - I always have some small scuba gear on a boat. It helps and is safer in such a situations. Snorkeling to do some work underwater (means using rapidly oxygen) may result in faint ... Anyway you are my favorite channel of all of this kind (life on a boat + kids + sailing). Neptune told that your cake was the best! :))))
You added that bit in Post about putting a lifejacket on Willa, because she was at the front of the boat. When you were in the water and Ashley was at the bow, Willa was strolling around without a lifejacket. No judgement from me.
Great to see the traditions of the sea being followed and Neptune/Poseidon reward you with great sailing conditions in the rest of your voyage and for the next seven years and more! The "olde crossed line" capturing your anchor are a Mediterranean special I am very familiar with. We were told to put a line on a cleat, then take the line under the cable fouling the anchor, secure your line onboard on a second cleat, then let out some chain from the windlass so the line takes the strain, the anchor falls free so can then be brought back onboard with no problems, then release one end of the line and you are away. Never a great experience but just needs teamwork to address and hats off for achieving whilst having two little ones to wrangle too. Fair winds!
You guys and everything your doing is BEAUTIFUL! Since you've got back out on the water I feel like you've reverse aged about 10 or more years even while the little ones are gaining soo much knowledge intellectual & physical.
The Skill Share promo was obviously done on Vancouver Island so you do make it home safely. Looking forward to your coming videos and hoping Nahoa isn't to badly broken.

@@asyla3389 a Bali 4.2 would be pretty uncomfortable in open waters like this video, but it depends where you want to go? and also where you're starting from. Love your channel, I was holding my breathe hoping your little girl wouldn’t fall over board a few times. Life jackets!! Please! I don’t want to see you go through hell, because something bad can happen so fast!

Hey Guys, Stay safe and I hope the boat problem becomes something positive. If you come to Ontario this summer I will show you guys around and you can come sail! Love you guys 🇨🇦
G'day Ben & Ash, as a Marine Engineer & Architect, I'm listening to the interior of your boat in the video, while you're on passage to the Seychelles, and the cracking & delamination is giving me a bloody tummy ache mate. It's obvious that your Lagoon is breaking apart as she sails ~ both the two main structual bulkheads (engine-aft; mast-forward). Plus, you can hear the stringers and non-structural floor bulkheads also cracking. Sorry for the shit news mate. However, I just want you to be safe and realise, how much the boat is structurally compromised and the significance of the damage ~ all originating from a poorly designed multihull, and inferior products that were used in the construction of your Lagoon. I wish you were in Australia ~ I'd haul you out, put Nahoa on the hard, support the center section of the cat, and do a proper survey! I wish you a safe passage and hopefully, you can address the damage to Nahoa, ASAP!!! Cheers from Western Australia 🇦🇺.
I heard it too. They need to watch Parlay Revival and all he went through with his Lagoon having to redo all the bulkheads. I do worry they are in danger crossing oceans in it right now.
@P A South Africa has some awesome boat builders. But that is some rough sailing that might destroy the boat. I think they need to go north and get it fixed in Israel, Saudi Arabia or Egypt. If I was them I would have fixed it in Thailand.
I know you know that it's not Neptune of the seas that kept you but I venture to say that it's the creator of the seas that has kept you. That's definitely something to be thankful for and mindful about. I admire your boldness and tenacity to do such a crossing with your little ones. Knowing that would cause me do develop a prayer life where only the master of the waters could do anything for you. You are precious people who respect and admire other people's beliefs and hopefully it's not without knowing yours.
Ashley you should get a couple of those toddler tank swimsuits with the life jacket built in, they look like they would be cooler and more comfortable for the babies, therefore a better chance they will be wearing it and you won’t feel bad that they are hot and sweaty etc.
When I met Neptune a few years ago he said that he quit drinking alcohol back in the 1600's. Not many people know this. He said he loves chocolate oat milk though... 🤔

It happened to Jupiters travels in NY Harbour on the Hudson river.....he had to cut it loose...the water was full of muck and there was a current running. It needs a loop or hole in the back edge of the spade so you could hook on a heavy rope and tip and lift the anchor ... luckily Ben could see what was what and the cable lifted off the seabed.
