I had seen both good and bad comments on this drama.
Gotta tell you, i enjoyed it.
Others mentored that the FL was weak. OK. She started out that way. She even knew she had a problem with being timid and admitted she was working on it to the ML. Good communication skills right there.
And she did. She showed real growth in the show. Something you seldom ever get to see is the characters growing and learning. She did.
He did to for that matter. He was all in almost from the start.
Once he realized she wasn't after his money.
He showed more humor and tenderness. All of it for her.
I was pleasantly surprised.
I feel a bit guilty for how much i enjoyed this. I really liked the bad guys getting what they deserved.
Other comments talk about the lack of expressions on the leads but really, i think they were meant to be that way. Both were so calm. He used his prayer beads a lot showing he wanted to be calm and thoughtful in his actions even if they were aggressive.
She was very calm even when she started learning how to stand up for herself. I admire that. A lot of people who've been abused as she was over compensate and get wild or mean. She didn't. She learned from him to be measured in her strengths.
Good show. I'd definitely watch again.

❤This drama is a treasure! ML is not dominant and unreasonable with FL. He gives room for FL, who is much younger, inexperience n abused by her family to grow in strength and character. This is RESPECT that is hardly present in chinese short drama.

I love the husband who protects his wife and falls hard for her. It is great that we see a plot when someone fights for those hurt. I feel it makes the best scripts because we need heroes in our lives. Great acting and I love how she get a make over and learns to fight back.
I loved this drama. The ML character was strong and protected the FL character. The FL character was timid but wanted to learn how to be strong. I especially loved that there were no misunderstandings between them. I would definitely watch this in another version. To the entire production crew, great job!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I liked this one... Dramas should be like this... Ml had misunderstanding but it solved in starting few minutes. Every one is allowed to misunderstand but then person should be smart enough to inquire and find the truth... Unlike other dramas where whole drama wasted in misunderstanding. This one was good
I enjoyed watching this drama.. of course the ML did an awesome job . He is handsome and when he found out she was not about the money. He became her protector, he was very patient with her. He didn't mind having his men take care of the bullies. The FL was shy and timid but I loved how they started communicating that's the key. The chemistry was good. I'm thankful that nothing happened to the babies while they were bullying her. I hate that after finding out about her parents they were dead and she didn't get to know them. The ML mom did it for me she was excepting of her even though she didn't have anything. She was loving, and kind to her. Loved the ending .❤😊

I'm re-watching this, and I'm at the part where she pays the doctor to steal a baby. I would've enjoyed this even more if they punished the doctor as well! (Just saying)
I watched for the hand lopping, and wasn't disappointed.
I saw another cast doing this script, both were equally satisfying.
Hopefully there will be a few more with different theater troupes and a few different twists.

This short drama is really nice story, it shows the wife humbleness not greedy, and a finance/husband is very caring, supportive husband, and calm with camaraderie, and the mother-in-law is a loving supportive and understanding mother!. This is the second version of this story. although i like this ML but i still liked the original version because of FL.FL in original version was very good she knows how to act better than FL of this version.having said that i like the story so any version is fine for me.
