If someone who has done many things in the past that wasn't good and he now realised his ways and have made a conscious effort to change his ways for the better then that's good and he is finally on the right path. I am happy for such a person and he needs to forgive himself, let it go by giving those bad things to the LORD God who will forgive him and cleanse him from all unrighteousness and put in him a new heart that willing to serve him.
They wont run away from commitment, if its benefiting them.( say.. moving in with someone quickly because they have no where else to go).. They only run away when they are held accountable for their bad actions or behavior.

If you also have childhood trauma issues and keep them with you you need to heal them. Which can cause a lot of different character defects as well. Sometimes people go through life thinking they are who they are they can't help but they were born that way, commitments, getting close to people, interacting with people, any sort of intimacy even as cuddling. They don't realize this is issues within them from their childhood and they don't know it and they don't fix it until someone can help recognize it and show them and tell them. We need to get rid of any garbage inside of us from after we are the baby we're reaching into our adulthood even on and on it cannot stay within us it has to release which can cause alcoholism drug addiction and so on. Wow!!!🤯 I was already resonating with your reading but when you held up that card I laughed and cried at the same time. This universe is too much some days 😅 He was a stripper when we met. I didn't know at first. He tried to hide it, saying he was more like an emcee. But then I looked up the name of the show saw him on their instagram page. Eventually he did come clean without me prompting him. But you could tell he wasn't exactly proud of it. I kept getting a strong feeling there could be more than just that. I don't condemn people who are doing the work ~ but in my case, at least for my last ex - she hasn't changed at all, just put on different masks and grouped with different people. And in this type of scenario - I've gotta say 95% of the time if they are truly a narcissist then it's like Matthias said: they don't change - they just put on new masks. Now in rare cases you will have those who, in the past were just done so dirty that they felt this was the only way of survival. And in the one or two cases of someone actually showing remorse and/or recognition of what they did - these are those people. But in the cases of true narcs, I've yet to see someone change for the better. We were all karmic to someone at some point yes because everyone has been at some point unevolved or selfish or thoughtless etc - but a true narcissist or in terms of how bad most are today - a true sociopath, will have an almost absolute stance of amoral gain. Meaning this: unless it benefits them or at least doesn't inconvenience them in the slightest in any way - it is never something they'll consider under any circumstances. Sure, they may say the words they may even "go through the motions " as it were in public with some sort of new friend group in order to reinvigorate their image - but it's mostly all image.

Im sure this is very reassuring for my sam. Its hard to turn a new leaf, when the darkness wants to keep you on their side. I have a history of toxic relationships. Now we have all these neurodiverse labels. But when we were kids 😅we were just branded the naughty kid and given a beating, with moms slipper. If he would just accept his flaws and be honest he would not be insecure with anything about him.
