I did this with my smart girl too. Same thing with come, lay down, brushies, nail trims, taking medicine, etc. Treats and lovins are the best training rewards, just like with training doggos. Cats are so stinking smart, they are just picky when they want to listen sometimes lol

I was trying to teach my kitten zircon to sit with this video with a licky treat(she goes crazy for these) but she grabbed my hand to get it and her claw dug into my finger and I tried to grab her paw to pull it back and now I’m bleeding so I don’t think this is going to work we might have to take her back to the shelter since my mom don’t play like that I can’t bend my thumb without it hurting a lot
