The original designer who came up with the instructions for this had a video of the sound demo...it sounded great, I do not know if the video is still on the net, but it was great. I have the original instru tons printed off from about 15 years ago
!!! Greetings from Montréal, Québec, Canada !!! The project seems great, being 'LEFTHANDED' such instrument would save me lots of dollars not having to have one made of wood (Imported from U.S.A.) and yes, I second a lot of the comments below, it would have been nice to hear its sound to have a good idea of the instrument...maybe a second viedo soon? Maybe put the construction plan in reference if you are not to 'Register' the product so others can do their own...like me? Noticed that the distance between the strings at the NUT was not EQUAL...please make sure of that. Cheers !!!

Well, actually, they said we shouldn't make a PVC bass... But we made it. What's that? No. No. We can't play it for you... Why? Well... because it's a bass made from PVC piping. It sounds absolutely awful." 😂 (But seriously... it looks fun. Wish you guys had at least included just a note or two to get a vague feel for what it sounds like!)
I think people do not realize that this is more of an art piece than an instrument. I wish you would take it to the next level and just slap a piezo inside of the body just to hear those weed whacker strings hum. That is the $5 answer to make everyone happy. Its almost 2 years now. Add the piezo and let's watch.
