Phoenix is so beautiful, I would never leave that place for fear of not being allowed back in. The river that runs through it is stunning, clear water as well, the people just milling around enjoying their town, doing what people should be doing when there community is looked after properly. It all amounts to a magnificent tour around a place where history has and will be enacted in the future. The water mill is stunning, there is a wonderful lack of , what people in Britain call, ‘Health and Safety’ totally unnecessary rules that are there to protect people but all they do is ensure that native Brits live only half a life. The wonder of crossing a bridge without sides , that would be described as necessary to ensure your safety, not to prevent you from having an authentic adventure. Thank you so much for the tour, I am to infirm to partake in something as robust as the tour, but you did something I consider wonderful.

Hello. You must have been exhausted from this video tour. You did not stop for a minute. Especially climbing all those steep staircases and bridges and walls. You must be in great shape. I love the narrow little streets close by the river with all those little quaint shops and restaurants in those lovely old buildings. It was like a maze, endless alleys,0⁰000 courts, and dead ends. It appears some people live in or above these shops, how cool. I like that you stopped in the ancient home of the famous man with a marble bust from his chest up to top of his head. Those rooms were dark, a little spooky with the barest necessities to live. Imagine the heat of summer and cold of winter living at that time. It was shocking as you got further away from the river, the town opened up into a modern outdoor mall with escalators and then roads with cars and modern buildings all over. I thought the whole town would be old and not just down by the water. Obviously, you would need a modern part of town to build hotels, inns, restaurants, and amenities for all these tourists. You spent most of your tour on one side of the river. Does that mean the other side lacked the quantity of older stores, houses and buildings that you showed us ?? Now I didn’t recognise the name but, I recognised his owl works, I’ve a nephew that painted an owl like that ink style as a kid, my big sister has it hanging up still some 13 odd years later 👊😊 On a clear sunny day you’ll get gorgeous reflections in the water of the buildings and maybe mountains behind too I bet. If this place isn’t recognised or registered for its beauty then it needs to be, get some of those buildings/temples that are starting to need serious maintenance sorted and preserve them. Man they should have filmed 河神 here. Superb stuff as always and thank you for sharing, I’d never know about so many locations if it wasn’t for people like yourself on here 👊😊
Actually the stone bridge of the river is pretty safe. If you're trying to walk slowly and carefully, it's nothing to worry. Everyone is cat like, haha, my friend. Really hope you can try it by yourself one day! HUANG YONGYU is the grand master of this town! Guess how much for one Chinese word of calligraphy of Master Huang? About USD ￥30000 per one word!! His paintings are great and expensive too. The bottle of Jiugui Wine was designed by him. The cost of design is about USD $2,000,000. People should do a great maintenance work for this ancient town.
