Back in the 90s skyjacker had a super soft lift for Ford pickups . Don't know if they still do but it was the nicest ride I ever experienced in a lifted vehicle. My Cherokee with Rubicon Express super flex lift is close to that Cadillac ride. Always been a fan of revolver shackles
These springs are advertised as having "softride technology" whatever that is haha. But it definitely rides way better than my old YJ with Rough Country springs.
Were your front shocks long enough with your axle at full droop? I got the OME kit with leafs, shocks and bushings and both rear and front shocks seem an inch or so too short. Was just wondering. I came back here to see what you did for the sway bar links then remembered you left it off. I’m not finished but mine is going to be road driven quite a bit and it feels squirrelly at this point, did not hook the bar back up yet. I know I’ll have to check alignment but not liking it right now.
Hello found your channel today. I have a 88 yj that I'm working on . Going to be installing a small lift soon . Someone before me had made shackles for it . I need to replace mine and I'm trying to decide what to buy. I don't need a lift shackles . What length are stock ?? Appreciate the video
I currently have the old rancho 2 1/2" lift on my yj. Other than the SYE shaft snd brake lines are there any other changes you would recommend to accommodate a 4" lift?

They were just barely long enough with the extended shackles but yeah they still went on with the axle at full droop

Stock shackles are 4" eye to eye I believe

Longer sway bar links if you plan to keep running one
Looks nice how much lift on the leafs and shackles?
Thanks, 4" springs, 3/8" shackles
What do you think of the shackles so far? Would you change the length if done again?
No issues or plans to replace them. My Jeep is a little taller than it needs to be so I definitely wouldn't go longer.
Cool - Got custom shackles made to be .5” taller. Excited to install this week!
