@PJSM94 OH yeah, they've done it this way for as long as I can remember. I'm sure there's alterior motives behind why they do it this way. Meta keeps rotating, streamers advertise it, people buy blueprints, and everybody's making money except us.
The only real way to fix this is to make every sniper in the game a one shot to the head as they're supposed to be. Marksman rifles should have the current damage falloff of the snipers swapped over.
They could also make ARs more viable. Snipers were extremely strong in WZ1 but ARs were also extremely viable so you didn't have to run a sniper unlike in this game where you're at a huge disadvantage if you don't
They need to just buff other guns/ attachments. We have dozens of weapons that are literally useless. Part of me thinks back in the day with fewer weapons maybe it was easier to balance tradeoffs of weapons and now tougher w so many + attachments but they got a lot of effort in on bundles/ skins/ camos/ emblems/ calling cards. 98% of that effort should be put into fixing broken stuff, cheaters, weapon balancing, and overall quality of life / quality

Yeah, sometimes I'm winning gunfights I have no business winning simply because RAA came into play and put my bullets where I needed them to be. I've gotten to a point where I'm AVOIDING moving too much during gunfights because I'd rather have full control of my aim than have a setting that does it for me. 😅
@@HOIIIYEAAYou can change to play on Precision or Focusing instead. They both have strong traditional aim slowdown, with NO auto-rotation. I play 20-20 Precision in multiplayer. it’s a lot of fun sniping like that. I play KBAM in warzone though.
The problem with the Kar98k, is that you are in the "obligation" of taking this gun in your loadout almost 99% of your games over another snipers, because this gun just do anything better. -Excellent Range -Is fast -Easy to use -In console counts with the Aim assist, so is even better in that platform. So, i think a nerf i was thinking with the Kar and considering that the Philosophy behind this gun, is a marksman rifle that it fast but not that strong. This is what i was thinking. -Less range, like 40 meters without attachments -Less bullet velocity, like 700 M/S without attachments. -Add a bolt attachment category, to change the loadout of the players instead of just using the same fastest meta gun every game, and at the same time it solves the problem with the bolt of the gun being that fast. -More flinch once u got shoot. -Less aim idle sight while moving. With this, the Kar will become a very good weapon at close and medium distances, with good mobility, but at the same time it will not render the other snipers in the game useless.
Release a fan favourite/new weapon, make it super powerful, then people will buy bundles and blueprints for it. They have done this countless times and it’s completely intentional.
As a dedicated mouse and keyboard player, I've been noticing a significant shift in Warzone since the KAR98 sniper rifle was introduced. It's become clear that this weapon, with its fast ADS (aim down sight) speed and power, is giving controller players a massive advantage due to aim assist. I've played as a sniper for a long time and can easily tell when a player has good game sense with their aim and sniping skills. However, with the KAR98, many casual controller players are now dominating, creating an uneven playing field. This rifle is flooding the game, making it frustrating for both mouse and keyboard players and other controller players. The balance really needs to be addressed to keep the game fair and enjoyable for everyone.
It just feels like this gun has all of the perks of a sniper rifle but doesn’t really come with any of the drawbacks. When half of the lobby is using the same gun and it’s blowing everything out of the water it’s time to be nerfed
Just remove he RAA on it and less people will use it, because the game will not longer aim/track for them. They should do this for every weapon tbh. After all it should be an assist, not a soft aim bot like in the current op and broken state

Never even touched another call of duty so this being my only one besides ghost and lemme just say as a first time user of the kar 98 I am loving it, it’s gotten me a lot of really epic kills and I even did the helicopter trick shot with it
I'm fine with the gun the way it is (in terms of AA I have no opinion one way or the other), just make AR's and even the other snipers actually viable so that there's at least some reason to not pick this one.
We need to add more default damage range to the MORS and XRK stalker to make sure they have a place, we also just need a horizontal recoil buff to all full auto weapons across the board
AA actually hinders getting headshots though. So, there's no real advantage here to be on controller with this weapon. It's a hit-marker machine for me....
why can't they just make one very slow but very stable sniper rifle with a fast bullet at long range (500+m) [HDR], a sniper rifle at medium distance with a very low bullet drop and a high penetration bullet that will penetrate any wall (150-300m) ) [AX-50] and one very fast sniper rifle up to 100m (Kar98)
Buff all the other snipers, movement ADS and Bullet velo, maybe even tweak the damage to the head, if a marksman rifle does more damage than snipers something is wrong.
Im glad the KAR98K is strong. This is the first time in a long time that I have gone back to enjoying warzone again, I get Verdansk vibes it's actually fun and if they nerf it I'll happily go back to Legaue and wait for the next Warzone release.

I think they should add some assault rifle meta which can compete with kar98 for those who rather use an assault rifle than a sniper rifle. Everyone is picking kar98 in warzone right now and you can compare it to verdansk's kar98, when we had kilo or amax as assault rifle meta

This aim assist for anything that 1 shots shouldn't be a thing so yes, agreed to nerf that shit. Also I vaguely remember something about ADS idle sway being removed/reduced for everything except sniper rifles in which case, that can be something devs can look at instead. At the same time, we need more guns that can challenge these snipers at long range. The DG58 just got destroyed which was the only real viable option. Aside from the SVA and the new AMP 4 the Kastov, nothing can flinch these snipers enough to make a difference.

No that’s the thing the game would be better with less nerfs. How about some buffs and balance. When the nerf most cases they get nerfed to the ground. There should be options and variety

Or they can just buff the other snipers so that they have better one shot range and velocity. Make it so the Kar is only for the close ra ge sweats and nerf its long range damage.
This thing is getting nerfed into a rifle where it belongs. The only reason its 1 shotting is for cash money baby.
