I'm glad that some one is remembering the great Midnight!This is a decent job,but its still a bit funny even a woman can't hit those notes,nobody but him could do it the same.He will always be missed not just for his untouchable vocals,but for the incredible human being he was while he was still on earth.I am very much kindred to my brother Midnight,I felt it when he left us and it had been years since I had known where he had disappeared to.The day he died something made me Google him and there it was the sad news of his passing and there is no denying it the universe let me know before I read the news.I am as he was an Empath and in tune with the energy of the universe,trust me its a curse to bear,look what it did to him.We are not put on this earth long once we burn out we must transcend as he did so shall I and maybe I will finally meet the soul or spirit or energy that he became when his fire went out in this world.Transcendence!Your spirit lives on forever!
I always felt Midnight was singing for his life! It felt as though he was in a battle to leave this world but his music was what kept him tethered to it and this is very apparent in his lyrics. It was like he was always trying to convince himself to stay alive and the battle was with himself which in the end defeated him. Hit me like a ton of bricks when I googled him and found he died and his demons finally got him. Brings tears to my eyes to this day.

That would be the equivalent of saying Andi Deris is singing old Helloween songs better than Kiske, lol! Pure madness, brother!

I saw Crimson Glory when I was a kid and I clearly remember seeing a woman backstage singing, helping Midnight hit the highs (at least during live performance).

Yannis honestly did it better than Midnight, and that was before he’d hit his prime.
i agree, his voice was out of this world, no one could reproduce that because of the passion and the feelings he put into it.
