Yup, first time ever at the Mountain was scream break 2023. Rode Goliath, mingled with Margo, then bought a pass that night. Scream Break opened the door for me and without it, I may not have ever even gone.

Legacy Cedar Fair is in charge. Lol. As much as I love Cedar Fair, they play it safe. If it cost more money than it makes, it's on the chopping block. But think of this as a review period this year for events. Some may come back 2026, some may not, some will be replaced with something different that's similar to what's in store.

It will SUCK if they dont bring back Scream Break, such a fun event! The no event calendar thing for Magic Mountain has been bugging me this year... Several parks across the Cedar/Flags company have cancelled events and announced event cancellations across the country. California's Great America cancelled ALL of 2025 events and are closed until April! With the announcement that it was so they could concentrate on thrill rides and improvements this year...Tricks and Treats and their Christmas Event are HIGHLY popular with families and a lot of people are upset. Its a slow time of year normally...but the fires have had an effect on all parks as well. Tourism was already suffering and now people have seen the TV coverage all over the world and while terrible...they made it sound like ALL of California burned down. Universal attendance is way down right now as well.
I honestly think 2024 scream break didn’t make any money the event was a complete ghost town from the UA-camrs I saw that went then only the right side of the park was open and only a few rides doesn’t make sense to have the event if no one is buying merchandise or food
In my opinion it was nice to see life again at six flags in terms of entertainment but honestly some of it if not all Of it was a bit cringe and felt forced . Nothing against the performers. The entertainment and evacuation is the equivalent to a high school play
