One thing to be aware of with those helping hands it that they aren't grounded (those loc-lines are actually meant for delivering coolant in machining) so you may want to run a cable up through the loc-lines (possibly replace the nozzle on the end with a banana socket/plug for croc clips)
Thanks David. Loads of cool stuff. I enjoyed the peek into your music collection. I've had almost everything you featured in a couple of formats. Take care .
nooo Nathaniel no there must be more than this..... The musical is awesome too. I remember a childhood friend playing WOTW on his dads reel-to-reel in the early 80s. It was kinda scary for a kid like me.
I have a pair of very large and heavy Leaks's which I currently used as a table. they must be late 60's or early 70's speakers. must see if I can find the model number.

Hi, David oops PCB Way A Please can I have the red one, good luck with the speakers they look nice I cant wait for the 14 segment display project that will be very cool where did you get them? Bob, in the UK
Where did you find the 14 segment display modules? Also, PCBWay is far more reliable and less shady than JLC. JLC tried to scam me; will never use them.
@@sjm4306 I don't feel like rehashing all the details, but in short, back when they were running their cheap first-pcb promotion I tried to place an order for several designs (one at promotion price, four at normal price). Initially they weren't honoring the promotional price, then after that was fixed they contacted me and said "our engineers have analyzed your design and determined it requires ENIG to function properly" and tried charge me an additional $45... It didn't. It was an OSHW design that several people had ordered from various places, including at least one from JLC, so fairly well confirmed there was no issue with it. They also went back to refusing to honor their advertised price (saying "just pay us full price now and we'll give you discount later") and were refusing to make any of my designs unless I paid for ENIG on the one.

I'm so glad I you are going to do that word game project! And YES! WOTW - Jeff Waynes! Ooooooooaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh

I would love to have one of those rulers, I just started fiddling with electronics and pcbs, their shipping is sadly too expensive (20 euroes)

There should be a link in the description for the displays, they were quite cheap from Ebay

Sorry, forgot to add it in the description. Should be there now. I have used both and haven't had a problem, noted though thank you.
How'd they try to scam you, it'd be helpful for others to generally know what to watch out for?
