I like the simplicity of your explanation, I was searching for a short video to share with a member of my crew, without seeming to point out his or her faults. Anger is a part of the human experience and I have learned from this video. I shared it with my superior and we both will be waiting for your anger management video. Job well done
I really enjoyed this video. I’m pretty phlegmatic and let things role off my shoulders. Every once in a while I have a coworker that is very difficult and triggers my anger. It’s not something I’m familiar with and actually kind of scares me on a couple different levels. So I’ve decided to ask the God/universe for help in understanding and navigating this emotion. As per the usual way when you ask for something, it is not just given. Instead circumstances arise where you have an opportunity to learn a new lesson. This is what happened today. I found your video and before acting/reacting, I watched this. Thank you so much for you help!
Interesting video, makes me think that when i get angry with someone I have to re-evaluate the trust i share with that person. I had an experience were i was deceptively jumped by 3 guys that tried threaten me with death and theft. I first got really sad or scared. Then almost immediately after i got angry & expressed that and that disabled the attacked in his tracks, he even had a gun. And 2 of the people froze. Which also makes me believe u cant experience negative emotions while there is anger. In a defense and offense state.
Very helpful video. We can finally understand how anger functions. Question is what is the best way we can use to show our anger so that it can still be accepted by our friends and family?
Great question! I believe in your question, we are referring to communication style. Communication is on a continuum: all the way from passive communication to aggressive communication. Aggressive communication is usually a result of anger. The goal is to try to use Assertive Communication, which you can think of as the midpoint between passive and aggressive communication. Stay on the lookout for a Part-2 video on anger, as I will address this more in-depth.
Suggestion: more death metal in the video. Just playing. I found this information valuable. While i was watching i observed my mind applying these insights to possible future encounters with angry individuals. It is my observation that anger is a tool - one that can provide great motivation and increase chances of *successful survival, ie. Protection, mates, financial gain, social status, etc... I say this not in contradiction to your information but in agreeable addition. I have viewed anger through an evolutionary perspective - with possible great benefit- and cannot condemn the emotion wholly, or some consequences of acting on that emotion, as long as those consequences are not self-destructive. What are your thoughts on this evolutionary perspective of successful* survival and the benefits of anger? Forgive the response structure. Im typing with my thumbs on a small cell screen.
Very well done... I have learned from your video✌
Thanks for this video very insightful

Love the cycle visual. It helped me understand and count the number of jumps i do during this process!
Awesome video and very well explained!!
what a great morning to listen to this ... thanks a lot ... enjoyed listening to it in a country (Lebanon) where expression of anger is very common.
