    Great video! Here's a pro-tip from a friendly Swedish Zen priest from Malmö;
    When doing seated meditation make sure that your knees are not up in the air like in the video. It will make it hard for you to find a good and balanced position since you are only having two points of contact with the ground and the points will be in one line. If you manage to get your knees down you will create three points of contact and basically turn yourself into a tripod. You seem like a flexible guy but if you are having issues with getting your knees down put a pillow under your behind and it will sort that out.
    Also, it's called mindfulness, not mindemptiness. So don't try to not think about anything or suppress your thoughts, that's almost impossible. Instead allow the thoughts to rise, greet them and then say good bye to them. That acceptance of what is forms the foundation of all mindfulness.
    Ta hand om er!

      Hello and sorry for the super late reply, just saw your comment!
      Doing my seated meditation I always felt the need to actively, almost forecully, keep my body in that position so I wouldn't slouch down and have a bad posture. Made it not just mentally but also physically challenging and was a bit distracting to be honest, never felt in balance. Looks can be deceiving, I'm definitely not the most flexible guy haha! Will try out the pillow trick becuase I still want to sit with a good posture when I decide to do it seated. Had a better experience meditation wise when lying down just for the fact that I didn't have to focus at all keeping my body in a certain position. Going to work on my flexibility :)
      Thinking back at it trying to completely empty your minds is probably like trying to scoop water out of the ocean, pointless even trying! I found the best way for me to battle it was thinking of just one single thing (breath, nature etc). As I said in the video my mind tend to be really messy and all over the place. Basically like sitting in a room full of people shouting for your attention and not really relaxing. Before I learn to be in more control and calm down my thoughts it's probably best for me to keep them in check that way instead of having them roam free.
      Sadly after this experiment I didn't continue meditating. Not sure why but I find it really hard to do "nothing" and always feel the need to do something productive or anything at all. I do see the benefits of meditation, especially for someone like me, so it's something I'll need to work on. Most likely I'll try to start again but just 5 minutes at a time to ease into it more.
      Tack för tipsen
