- Due to their obvious permanence, a lot of people put a ton of thought behind each and every tattoo they get. But life isn't supposed to be serious all of the time. Sometimes it's way more fun to walk into the tattoo shop and get an incredibly dumb tattoo that will make you giggle every time you see it for the rest of your days. We asked our panel of tattoo artists about the stupidest tattoos they've ever done for this episode of Tattoo Artists React.
Welcome to Season 21 of Tattoo Artists React! I bet you didn’t think we’d make it this far, did you? We certainly didn’t. This time around we’ve gathered a bunch of our favorite tattooers and asked them a bunch of questions… you know, like we’ve done every other season. But that doesn’t mean it’s not going to be a ton of fun! Like, you’ve probably eaten french fries 10,000 times but when you see them on the menu you still order them. I’m rambling. What's the dumbest tattoo you have?
My first tattoo was a smiley face with horns on my wrist that I did myself. It looks like complete shit and I’m about to go get it covered up

I love how it seems like no one wants to call anyone's tattoo dumb, which is nice but some people do have dumb tattoos

I've had an idea of a dumb tattoo for a while, idk if I'll ever get it though. There is a bird known as a Great Tit (Parus major), and I want two of them on my chest so I can finally say I have a pair of Great Tits.

My dumb tattoo idea is to get an Chinese food menu and pick a dish and get it done then like to people saying it means something impressive...
I would do this if my chest would be empty. Go for a traditional design, like those swallows, would look great.

The stripper fish was absolutely amazing! I've only done a couple of tattoos( and NONE of them in safe or hygienic conditions, go to a professional shop people, don't be college age me) and the dumbest one was by far the full pectoral redbull logo. It was SO big and only my second time with the machine, seriously dumb. Luckily for him, I was far too light with it so he was able to easily get it covered within a year.
I repeat: GO TO A PROFESSIONAL. If you'd like to tattoo, get practice skin, work on your art, and seek out an apprenticeship. Do not tattoo your friends in dorm rooms just because 'we're all artists so we'll all be good at this'.

Dumb tattoos bring the most joy. I think the best tattoo I've done is Patrick Star as Pinhead Larry placed so that it looks like he's coming out of the dudes shoe xD

@Archibald Chuzzlewit I wish I could post a pic. My friend was Learning to tattoo before an apprenticeship and quality wise it's better than some of my professional ones. Absolutely hilarious and silly but I love it lol

There used to be a guy that worked in the Arco station on I90 in Couer d'Alene that had "Bitch Boy" tattooed across his throat.
On the back of his neck in smaller print it said "Don't be a"; but I'm pretty sure few people ever saw that part...

I dont think we should be so pressed about "the future". As long as your not getting poorly done work who cares. And even then ive seen plenty of stoner bart simpson tats or whatever on a 35 year old mom that make me smile.
