I'm writing a novel . . . and this entire soundtrack by Sea Wolf is my inspiration - the first chapter is literally called "The Cold, the Dark, and the Silence". This music is so prefect for novelling - it's quiet but it's got the lyrics and beats that I need to power through chapter after chapter after chapter . . . thank you Sea Wolf!
Pandora is the greatest invention of the 21st century! Never heard of the band until they played them on my Fleet Foxes radio station. Anyway SW has great sounds, and lyrics. I'm digging them alot
After watching Battlestar Galactica, and when I listened to this song after so many years, I immediatly thought he's saying "when the cold the dark and the Cylons come".
So we're lost, we're lost out here on the plains, my love. It's only wind and ice and trees that wave from above. But when the cold, the dark, and the silence come it's like a sudden rush of water through your heart and lungs.....
One of the only good things about the twilight movies: They lead me to this band. Its sad that that is how I found them, But Im glad not all my time was wasted.
@SidewaysAndOut It makes me depressed that I only heard of them because of New Moon (though I haven't actually seen it.) Only redeeming feature of those movies is the sound track. Bon iver and death cab? It's suprising. I envy your position.

For the longest time I've tried to write a novel and I always get writers block, but when I listen to Sea Wolf, ideas just come out.
