Thanks. I always loved closing beaches and now I know how to do that faster and focus more on it as a main strat. Also I didn't realize the significance of the hurry up before, but now I know not to leave it hanging.
Hey Man Thanks for your great information video which helped me increase my score. In the beginning i was totally lost due to the complexity of the gameplay. I must say that as a regular godzilla player, it was quit a change to play the jaws pinball. but now i think i prefer jaws to godzilla yours truly Jean-Marie, Switzerland, Europe (for you americans)
Zero adjustments out of box for the reel. If you have any lube available that could help or it's possible that some parts of the reel have been over tightened out of factory.
seems like the Pro and Premium have opposite requirements for Encounter qualifications and Encounter Boosts: Pro: hit Captive Ball into *any of the 3 arrows* to decrease Boat health / qualify Encounter & collect the first two Boosts, make *precise shots to each individual arrow* for the remaining Boosts Premium: make a *precise shot to an individual arrow* to decrease boat health / qualify Encounter, then *bash the big fishie (wherever)* for the Boosts i've been playing the Pro, and i tend to ignore the Encounter Boosts beyond the time extension. the chance for 2x Encounter Scoring is attractive, especially with the Closed Beach bonuses, but it'll take at least two precise captive ball shots to the final arrow of a set of 3 to get there. and trying to aim where that captive ball goes isn't easy! it's unpredictable how many shots I'd have to take to nail the last arrow! my arcade is expecting the Premium version in the coming weeks, and i think i'll start going for all of the Boosts once they're all on the bash toy. seems a bit more dangerous, but way easier to execute!
How do you get the drop targets to reset? I keep finding myself in situations where I’m trying to get my barrel lit for the 2nd multiball but all the targets are down.
How do you light gear on a pro? I saw how you cradled the ball on the left flipper while using the right flipper to select binos before shooting the right ramp, I'm going to try that. I just need to know when the pro model is ready for me to do that. Cheers
Excellent and informative video thanks Travis. Still dont really see the added value in the premium, even with the upper pf spinner award. but nevertheless a great strategy laid out for the novice and expert alike.
I would if I could, but unfortunately I don't have access to Jersey Jack machines. However I believe there are a few solid videos floating around UA-cam somewhere.
Thanks. Truth be told, I have a full notebook of hand written notes of various strategies and roadmaps. I name them all to help with the ease of communication. Sometimes I go as simple as "Insert name of mode Strategy" or other times I'll name it off of a character who is closely associated with the action. Same. I did once play a grand master in the jungles of Belize. He checkmated me in 3 or 4 moves on the first game, but the 4th he said, "well you did better that time." True story.@@ThePinballCompany
As a Hungarian amateur competitor I found this channel recently, it is very high quality and profound.
Thanks. I always loved closing beaches and now I know how to do that faster and focus more on it as a main strat. Also I didn't realize the significance of the hurry up before, but now I know not to leave it hanging.
It opens up the game to more possibilities. Especially if the reel isn't being cooperative to progress towards bounties.
Just got this pin, this is invaluable info. Thanks!!
Yes! been waiting for this! Thanks!
It is here!
Bounty multiballs can be super lucrative as well. Easy to complete and then the victory laps are really good, easy points.
Very true and very fun as well

No problem Jean-Marie. I'm glad the video helped.
Travis - awesome work thank you!
Thanks! You're welcome.
Great video - How did you get your fishing reel on the right to spin so fast. On my machine I can't get a good shot to make it spin more than 2 times
I have the same question??
Any adjustments at all? A drop of lube, perhaps?
Zero adjustments out of box for the reel. If you have any lube available that could help or it's possible that some parts of the reel have been over tightened out of factory.
Great video! How exactly do you light the specific gear you want? Is it by shots? Slingshots? Is it random? Thanks!
Thanks! The right flipper will cycle the gear.
@@ThePinballCompany thanks! Also, how do you initiate gear? Shots to Quint's shack?

I'm not sure about the target reset, but the Harpoon insert should be lit to help raise up the roving fin target.

Oops, I just saw you have a video explaining that already. Thanks for the videos, cya
No worries. Glad it helped.

Have you hit that left ramp to upper ramp combo? Man, it's one of my favorite combos in pinball rn.
@@chadcowan8130 yes agreed, such a great combo, but just not worth the extra to me.
In the words of one of my Triple Drain Podcast co-hosts, that's fair. Thanks for watching!
Hey mate, really love your strategy videos, could you do an Elton John strat? I really have no idea what to focus on in that game.
Thanks

Great tutorial. Why do you call it the Hasselhoff strategy?

@@ThePinballCompany Thanks for that.

so to describe this early strategy its "Get Everyone Out Of The Water!" ??
I guess that why you call it the Hasslehoff method, he tended to do that too. lol
Yep you got it!
Mitch was his name is Baywatch 😊
