just died after doing 100 toxic sewers and on the 101th time i forgot i had a dash up and dashed directly ontop of a mini shitter. Holding the cursor close the my character is definitely something I'll learn in order to bypass inevitable complacency cheers.
Yeah I completely underestimated how easily you can die. Had a Kensei benched for a month just getting random gear for him I thought was cool. Went to glands to farm a bit, boom first dash I hit I ran into a wall and died instantly
I've only been playing ROTMG for about 4 days, and Kinsei has personally been the most enjoyable. I find the dash to be super user friendly for escaping if you aren't being risky with it, it's gotten me out of a lot of pinches as well as cleared mobs like a charm. It's the strongest character I've got currently, and I'm yet to die with it like the huntress and necromancer I thought I'd be sticking with. (Because they died with no Kinsei dash to utilize)
I love Kensei. It's on my top 2 classes along with Huntress. I died a lot when he launched, mostly by dashing on top of an enemy, or trying to stack the ATT bonus at the wrong time, but I've got the hang of it now (I was already familiar with all the tips and tricks in the video).
I know the Blitz Sheath does crap trail damage but with the right set up you can easily go across glands because it boosts the hell out of your Def to knight or above knight levels. Definitely a fun class and nowhere near as fragile as Trickster.
I didn't really like the kensei when I first tried it out when it was on testing. after that. I tried it on prod for the first time like two seasons ago, and actually found it fun.. I got it to like 5/8, died, and haven't tried again since. Liked your video. Made me want to try making another kensei for this season
i watched your kensei ppe and decided to start playing kensei and as soon as i started playing i could not stop and now when i die on my kensei other characters are not as fun so i stop playing for a while and it was my first time doing an ppe witch was more fun than i expected. honestly if ppl dont like kensei that sounds like a skill issue to me.
def a skill issue, if you gave me an auto target closest enemy feature, i would love kensei bc i could focus on using my ability to dodge. even if you told me autotarget had only a 50% accuracy and requires high projectile speed. the biggest trap with the ability is that it takes dmg over hazards and that still makes me prefer trickster
@@pyrojkl I wish there was a bigger indicator for the dashes. I think it would make it easier for people who don't like kensei and kensei players in general
yeah if you play league, an indicator could help, but honestly a lot of the challenge in this game is the fact they devs know some dungeons literally have bullets that are harder to see. so i am not surprised. not sure what to suggest, i just know one of my fav roguelike bullet hell games. (soul knight) has autoshoot and can still be very challenging despite having abilities that can literally detroy bullets. Imagine having a knight shield or a new melee that could destroy bullets/exploding shots but then balance its strong survive and utility with high mana costs and a few new mechanics that are lasers with indicators to give people a chance to dodge.
I love Kensei. After getting the full Tidal Wave ST set it quickly became my favorite character. It's high risk, high reward and it feels really great to get a full stack of ATK+

very nice character guide keep up this kind of content
Kensei is something like the most overpowered of all the time and easily the dumbest hero ever

@@yatagarasu9012 it is easier to suicide as a Kensei than die.
Bizarre how it is a nice and demanding boy

I like how when Kensei gets confused you can just dash to whatever direction you want to move to
great video dude dude, you made some interesting points. altho i still think kensei is pretty underwhelming you gave me some thoughts about it
as a new player who sucked at dodging, kensei was my first favourite!
I know the Blitz Sheath does crap trail damage but with the right set up you can easily go across glands because it boosts the hell out of your Def to knight or above knight levels. Definitely a fun class and nowhere near as fragile as Trickster.
You play this class way better than me but I have to say that Kensei is truly a favorite for me.

i like how if you dash over lava you can kill it quicker and play anyone else
for legal reasons thats a joke, great video my goat!
Kensei is so op midgame with the volcanic sheath
Use the kensei to dash across the water in sulf or DD! it's so free!
jokes on you i do not think kensei is bad or mid. I think its fun to play kensei
I love Kensei. After getting the full Tidal Wave ST set it quickly became my favorite character. It's high risk, high reward and it feels really great to get a full stack of ATK+
I dont get why people dont like it? I made a kensei ppe and I have alot of fun with it!
Even as a veteran player i love kensei lol, but easy to die if you get over competent
5:26 and so i keep my cursor near the edge of the screen so if i dash, i can just run or dash back
You sold me
Ive always been a kensei player but i still havent mastered keeping up dps boost at all times
Yeah it's a tall task. I do think that it could be done in most dungeons by an elite player. It would be incredibly difficult tho.
Was never able to do o3 on my thirst kensei i thirsttried it
Poggers
Ur a chad.
8:24 shame to jrodd
One they remove the charge up nonsense it’ll be a fun intuitive class until then it’s a cool class with weird deformities.
4:04 :(
You are 2 years to late.
I must atone. But at least it is here
