Isn’t sad that all parties have to end no matter how much fun they are. I was more of a 70s person and the 80s for me were rather traumatic but it did end well with the birth of my eldest child in 1989.
Boy she has an excellent band who's backin' her up plus her sound engineer(s) have done an excellent - excellent job. Would've loved to watch this concert in '86...Tiny woman - powerful voice.
Maybe you recognize the guitar player. If I remember correctly, Aldo Nova toured with Cyndi Lauper in 86. Pretty wild for a multi-instrumentalist Hard-Rock star from Canada traveling the world and playing guitar for Lauper. I too am an 80s Metal Head. But I loved so much of the music from “The Decade”.
She appeared to have routinely masked her natural beauty with her wardrobe, hair, and make-up back in the day. But yeah, she's undeniably talented, i.e., incredible singer - vocal range - and songwriter, and I would agree very attractive it seems when she chooses.
"Weird cuteness" is a perfect description. The only things I'd add are "talented songwriter" and "committed to justice" - she toured for years supporting LGBTQIA+ rights. 💙🌈
she was cute! she always kept her youthful spirit and looks. she in her early 30s in this video and during the girls just wanna have fun video and she i think she passed as someone in their late teens!
She was sweet, she is gorgeous today, an artist that managed fame the smart way. Never had scandals and still one of the best performers ever! Cyndi, you are the 80's !!!!!!!!!!!
She was always in control of the music. She is smart intelligent a true artist. I remember Change of heart... Cyndi you are the Salvador Dali of music. Admiring you since 1983. Thanks for everything,
Cyndi was always so unique, odd but super cute at the same time and oh so talented and fun. Friends gave me crap for liking her, they were all into heavy metal, but I prefer a little of everything!
This is such a fantastic performance from such a fantastic artist. I completely and absolutely believe she is the BEST. I am sad that I never had the chance to see her live. The more I see and listen to her, the more I understand how important and credible and valuable she is. Thank you, Cyndi Lauper, for sharing some of your life story with us!!
Saw her in Rancho Mirage some years ago near my hometown of Palm Springs. There was a LOT of dancing in the aisles during that concert. One of our top three or four American songwriter/performers of the past century, easily.
'Cyndi Lauper in Paris' was the first special I saw on HBO. And I was a huge fan of her from then on!!! She's truly is a one-in-a-million talent from music to Broadway to T.V. Cyndi will be always rhe '80's 'wild child'!

She was always so cute and natural. She is one of my inspirations.Sometimes I wish I was a teenager in the 80s, Being 16 in 2014 sucks some of the new songs of today are not even music. Cyndi forever
I was at the end of my teens when she hit the airwaves big-time. Loved every one of the songs she released. Pop with a whole new twist it will probably never see again. Magical.
I met her in the lobby of one of the Disney hotels back in the late 90's. I was with my 3 year old daughter and Ms. Lauper just fawned all over her while we talked. She was just the coolest person. The kind of person you'd just want to hang out at a tavern and have a beer with. Still have never seen her perform live though. Enjoyed her records when they first came out.
Cyndi had and still has the most beautiful eyes, gorgeous smile, and amazing voice. I fell in love with her the first time after time I saw her. Thanks Cyndi, for not being trashy like most singers - past and present - who sold their albums while portraying themselves as the goddess that only you are to this day .
This songs 🎵 brings many bittersweet memories, that will never come around again! I have to stop, I can't finish listening till the end, it's painful! Love you Cyndi...💞
The album version of this song is still one of my favorites. She truly is an amazing artist. I know everybody’s making fun of Madonna but she was good for a little while, until her ego started to get the better of her.
Cyndi is a true , genuine entertainer. She has a great voice and enough real talent and versatility to attract adult audiences. She has the silliness and eccentricities to attract the kids. She has incredible stage presence and energy and she’s fun and likable. She’s a unique high quality entertainer. And for the guys….she has sneaky natural beauty and underrated, cute legs . ❤❤ Madonna got more headlines, but Cyndi’s my girl.
Wow, this woman is awesome!!!! I love her originality so much. She still is around after all of these years. You can't say that for many of the bands of the 80's. Whatever happened to "Frankie Goes To Hollywood"???????? Who knows and who cares, Cyndi is a real trooper and will always be loved and will always be around in one form or another.
So many millions of pop fans "bopped" to this classic tune four decades ago. Cindy Lauper captured the essence of young adulthood as "She Bopped" to them.
That classic giggle she presented in the opening verse/lines are just so memorable, and pretty much not able to be legitimately copied by anybody else. What a powerful performance!
she sure was a little hottie back in the day, today, she is still vibrant in the music community, writing songs and producing for other artists. A true artist who has made MUSIC, not social media, her life.
I met Cyndi music whenever i get on a freeway in LA. That was in 1986 I love Cyndi all thru the night. Help me make it thru the night. I miss U Cyndi ♥♥♥♥♥
Great artist....Cyndi lauper....her songs had deep meaningful lyrics...at times quirky...others sad...at times happy...Very good live...this version is good.... Melanie 32 ❤️ 🌈

Japan's TV (NHK) are pioneers with the highest standards of TV (like 8K). So, I can't believe this video has so low quality (even for that year) considering it was presented in that country.
I was 15 at the start of 1980 i went out one night to go partying and finished sometime in 1989 haha
best decade ever
Isn’t sad that all parties have to end no matter how much fun they are. I was more of a 70s person and the 80s for me were rather traumatic but it did end well with the birth of my eldest child in 1989.
She was THE act for a year or so. This song was on the radio all day, every day. I always liked her.
HATE IT, lol
Boy she has an excellent band who's backin' her up plus her sound engineer(s) have done an excellent - excellent job. Would've loved to watch this concert in '86...Tiny woman - powerful voice.
She had "The Hooters" as one of her bands. "Time After Time"
The good old days of the 80s how I'd love to go back and start all over from 1980 and just stay there rest in peace 1980 to 1987
I was a metal head back in the 80's, but always loved Cyndi. You just knew she was cool to hang with.
Seen condition twice live . Fantastic. Great voice. Genuinely fun concert the way she engages the crowd.
Just LOVE Cyndi, been a fan since 1984.....you is an AWESOME Lady...
She was/is just SO adorable.
She is so unusual ❤
cyndi lauper 舞台狭しと踊るパフォーマンス凄いの一言に尽きる。今後の活躍期待している。いつ見ても、聴いてもいいな~
Gorgeous. And surrounded by master instrumentalists. The 80s were something else.
I was sophomore when this song came out... Wonderful times! Love the 80s.
What a decade! Ah, the 80's! I love you Cyndi Lauper!
Always been a big Cyndi fan since her first album. I didn't realize she had such a cute figure. We need more Cyndi Laupers in the world... who bop.
Typical refrigerator Jew woman body lmao what are you talking about?
She is cute. ❤
She appeared to have routinely masked her natural beauty with her wardrobe, hair, and make-up back in the day. But yeah, she's undeniably talented, i.e., incredible singer - vocal range - and songwriter, and I would agree very attractive it seems when she chooses.
ill say!
I want to be a singer Cyndi inspired me with that.
She had a weird cuteness to her and a great singing voice. Love her.
"Weird cuteness" is a perfect description. The only things I'd add are "talented songwriter" and "committed to justice" - she toured for years supporting LGBTQIA+ rights. 💙🌈
Good description of the great Cyndi!
The naughty GF look.
She had a weird hotness.
she was cute! she always kept her youthful spirit and looks. she in her early 30s in this video and during the girls just wanna have fun video and she i think she passed as someone in their late teens!
Cyndi marching it all over that stage...not out of breath, not missing a beat.
Girl is on it, killing it.
she' s great...so underreted
So genuine
And you have a lack of expression enough to say anything worthy of the moment and this woman. "killing it"... what childish twaddle.
Song about masterbation account by her
GURL RIGHT? I was like, holy fucknuggets, up and down like 8 flights of stairs. I would be PANTING.
Cyndi was a great and unique singer, brilliant, cute, badass all in one.
Yep - that facial expression she did - it showed an attitude of 'I am tough because I grew up struggling'!!
Everybody loved Cyndi back in the day! ❤
Cindy was so adorable. She always reminded of an Asian Doll. She had a totally understated sexiness....
This song just kicks ass....Cyndi Lauper no words😎
Love the extra keyboard playing - LIVE PERFORMANCES CAN ADD SO MUCH WITH THEIR VARIATIONS!!!!
I was 11 in 1984 and she stole my heart ❤❤❤
Me too. Thx to Cindy ❤
Cyndi Lauper is lovely!
The bass line in this song is great
Yep
She was sweet, she is gorgeous today, an artist that managed fame the smart way. Never had scandals and still one of the best performers ever! Cyndi, you are the 80's !!!!!!!!!!!
i love Cyndi Lauper
Wagner Mattos i love Madonna...and Cyndi Lauper hehehehe
What a wonderful music, the 80's rock!! Nowadays the music is just horrible, what is going on with creativity
lot of people dont get what song about lol
Magically awesome
She was always in control of the music. She is smart intelligent a true artist. I remember Change of heart... Cyndi you are the Salvador Dali of music. Admiring you since 1983. Thanks for everything,
シンディーローパー かわいい❗

This song and performance are amazing. Cyndi Lauper is incredible.
This version is very good. I'm from Brazil and love the voice Cyndi. She's a good singer
Cyndi was always so unique, odd but super cute at the same time and oh so talented and fun. Friends gave me crap for liking her, they were all into heavy metal, but I prefer a little of everything!
Wow, she delivered one hell of a performance there. Kudos to her and to the road crew lugging about those magnificent, huge 80's synthesizers.
OMG.....I love Her....I love Her music....she looks so beautiful...real music ..from a real person...God bless You Cindy Lauper...
This is such a fantastic performance from such a fantastic artist. I completely and absolutely believe she is the BEST. I am sad that I never had the chance to see her live. Hey! You can't do THAT!
She's a degernerate and a mediocre peformer at best.
@@bossdrive525 Yeah I don't get bit either!!!!! "She is the BEST"..... At what??????

Got Cindi on the screen, medical grade joint in hand, I was 30 yrs. old in 86, fixing to time travel back to - - - - SOMEBODY STOP ME DAYS !!!
If you had the gift of watching her back in the 80's you damned well knew THIS BEEEECH WAS IT!!!!!!!
Her singing and performances were so good I never notice how nice her legs are. Zowie.
this young generation has no idea how fun it was to live through the 80's!
Saw her in Rancho Mirage some years ago near my hometown of Palm Springs. There was a LOT of dancing in the aisles during that concert. One of our top three or four American songwriter/performers of the past century, easily.
"Top three or four of the last century"? Yikes! You want to stick with that?
Simplesmente maravilhosa, Cyndi Lauper é a verdadeira rainha do pop
BTW, this song is about masturbation guys. Children of the '80s have always known this.😂
You stole my heart way back then and still have it. The greatest singer and performer ever. Thank you
'Cyndi Lauper in Paris' was the first special I saw on HBO. And I was a huge fan of her from then on!!!

Why can’t there b any good music like this anymore? I so miss this kind of music.

Party on Candy
too true LOL... I grew up with this, Madonna, Queen ,Prince, ,the first home computers.... maybe some day in 2030 there will be a new 80s type wave.
Absolutely righteous performance. A lot of energy. I really enjoy it.
Man, I miss the 80's. Music just went down hill from there. Greatest music of all time.
Sorry, 60s and 70s hands down.

Cyndi demonstrates that talented female pop singers don't need autotune and a dozen choreographed dancers to blow a room away.
Well that was the 80s !!
no, just drugs and micro skirt
That's is right! I've seen her live several times. AMAZING talent and INCREDIBLE voice, even in her 60s!
Yay, another mindless and ignorant autotune comment, right at the top of the list!
And Thrift store clothes. Not designer stuff. Sustainable...
