Truth told, the suction cups are great and needed. And seriously a little bit of spit helps get those suction cups into place a little rotation and force on your part. They would go in better if you used petroleum jelly, but you cannot use petroleum products on petroleum products because they will degrade, and that would be bad. If you had some personal lubricant maybe that would work if you don't want to spit on it. Be aware though that personal lubricants can have oils and then that can degrade the suction cup. Use at your own risk, or sack up and use spit. Have you ever used the spit join for a wool yarn invisible join? It's just spit. Soap and water will take it right off. If your hands were oily [hand créme] when you were handling the cups or if there was any dust or fiber/lint remnants on your table or if your table has texture, the cups won't suction well. You can use a damp cloth or dip your fingers in your ice water and rub them on the cups for better results.
I have both machines, the Sentro is definitely great if you’re just starting out or if you’re only looking to make gifts or for yourself, but if you have a business and you’re going to constantly use it, it really doesn’t hold up(inconsistent projects, broken needles easily, stupid suction cups). I had to take my Sentro apart and fix the counter twice before I gave up and threw it away. I did buy another one for my son to use, and it works for him. But I bought the Addi and fell in love, I use it constantly with consistent results every time. I ended up buying the Addi express and now the Addi egg as well.
Yes, I ultimately upgraded from Sentro (I had a 22 and a 48) to Addi (a 22 and a 46 and eventually an Egg) and I fully agree except for the Egg. The Egg is overpriced and is constantly getting stuck. It was a total waste of money.
I had Sentro and after like 50 hats, it doesn't work anymore. It has really bad quality plastics. Its weel inside it lost some of the teeths, so even you turn the handle, the handle doesn't turn the weel. It is trash now... So sad.
@@tesoro5867try using different brands of yarn. I have a sentro but I’ve Herd addis do it two if it’s a type of yarn the don’t like they will consistently drop stitches.

I just bought the sentro and it took a week to get to my house, but I’ve already made 4 hats. I really like it. Mine came with a card board insert instead of plastic, but the hardest assembly was the suction cups. I’m enjoying it! As a crocheter, I thought it would be hard to do it but it’s quite soothing.
Awesome! Any updates with the Sentro? I love the color too! About how many beanies made by your addi machine do you put out in a show and what’s your favorite yarn to use with your addi?
I love my Addi! I got it when it was on sale for $170 on Amazon and it’s definitely worth it. I had the Sentro before and over time it started skipping stitches more and then the row counter stopped working. I haven’t had either of those issues with the Addi.
Yeah, I got my Addi King Size on sale for $173, but since I got my Sentro on sale for $32, still a big gap. I loved my Sentro for the first 2 or 3 projects I did on it. After that it was all skipped stitches, uneven tension and constantly getting stuck. One of the legs broke off. The Addi was much better.
I love Sentro. I have made panels for sweaters and it has saved time knitting. I do know how to crochet and knit. My sweaters and hats look like something from a store. I'm very proud. There is a tension piece in your package they all have one. I had a great time using my machine. I love the 22 needles I can make cuffs for my sweaters, socks, hair bands and so much more. I think it's a nice invention.
I haven’t tried the Addi. But I got the sentro for my birthday. I really like it. I ended up going to Home Depot and buying some small clamps from there. My row counter definitely doesn’t work well I ended up using my own little row counter that I already had. I love my sentro!
It sounds like you're pretty crafty with your solutions! Thank you so much for sharing your experiences! If the opportunity ever comes up, I recommend you give Addi a try!
Thanks for sharing! I don’t have a knitting machine yet, but I’m thinking about getting one for my birthday. Sounds like the Sentro would be a good option for a beginner!
Yes, you need the suctions cups. Yes, they are hard to put on. Push them with a crochet hook or something. I will say, the suctions cups don't work great over time. I use two sided removeable glue dots on mine to keep it in place. And they're all the same thing....just branded different. And they are very "particular" about what type of yarn will work, but I think that's the case with all of them.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience! My dad and husband are pretty crafty, and they think they can create some clamps that will secure it to a table for me!
I have the sentro . got it a few months ago. they have attachments on amazon that can put a motor on it for like $20 or a drill attachment for $10 . im going to get on of them soon to make them faster and not kill my arm.
I have both for only a few weeks. Both are dropping stitches every time a start a beanie. I am going crazy slow on the spin but it is still dropping. I wanted to chunk them both in the trash yesterday. :(
I saw someone put velcro on the bottom of it and their table so it would stay but it was movable. Just got to make sure to put the soft side on the table
I've seen in other tutorials, u can use the Addi clamps on the Sentro. They also have an electric mechanism that u can use a drill with to save ur arm. 😊 Hope that helps. Happy crafting!
That machine absolutely does come with a tension guide. I have the 20 peg and the 48 peg sentro knitting machines. I’ve used the bigger one more and both of them already need new handles. I’ve only had them about a month. I’d like to upgrade to the addi.
i have a sentro 48, bought it for the price point (got it for $50 on amazon), and because it's the largest machine on the market, the needle count is easily divisible so my ribbing is even, and I can make leggings and extra large hats. I'm on a limited budget so doing smaller hats or items using 40 needles I can just cast on that amount and knit. Never had a problem knitting, it runs smoothly and the counter works well. Replacement needles and tensioner are available. I also got a small drill attachment because I'm adding to my craft business and knocking out that many hats hurt my elbow.
That's so awesome that the Sentro is working out so well for you! It sounds like you have a good system down :) And thank you for the tip about the drill attachment! I've been wanting to look into those!
I have the sentro. Only had it a week but I absolutely love it ! I am going to upgrade to the addi thought :) but will definitely still be keeping the sentro. I have made something like 20 hats and 10 scarves 😂
Great video, thank you ❤ I've been using my Sentro on and off for 3 years and it's still going strong I've made blankets, beanies, scarves, head warmers, snoods, mittens and toys for my grandchildren. I alternate between doing hand crocheting and circular machine knitting. I have arthritis in my right hand so hand knitting is no longer possible for me to do any more so when I saw the Sentro I didn't even think twice. When it eventually gives up the ghost, I will have no hesitation in buying the same machine again. Whilst I would love to try an Addi, I don't feel it would be cost effective for a hobby-crafter like myself. (Let's hope I haven't cursed myself now because I'm starting my Christmas projects next week 😂)
If I want a sentro to start out with in order to make income enough to buy an addi for my own business, which size sentro should I get to get started? I live in warmer climate. Should I get a 40 or a 48 start with?
You are so funny, I can relate to you! Every comment you said about this thing….was my EXACT THOUGHTS. However, about ONE YEAR LATER 🫠 I finally got the hang of it!!!
I've only made a couple products on the Sentro so far, so I can't give a definitive answer there, but it seems like it will make a slightly larger item, and you'll have to increase the tension to create the same size to the Addi!
The difference is in the longevity. The counter on the Miaoke will fail eventually, very few still work. The machine is not as robust. Some people claim they can get replacement parts, but the machine is not meant to be taken apart and put back together very many times. I have both brands. If you want a quick thrill, go cheap it will do a good job and get you there. If you need something reliable then Addi is the way to go. Been using these machines for over 4 years now.
Thank you so much for sharing your experiences! It's good to have someone who has worked with a variety of machines over the course of multiple years weigh in! ❤️
I have not tried the Addi but I actually had some really good results with the Sentro knitting machines. A selling point for me personally is the 48 stitches vs 46. Those two stitches make a difference! Especially if you are planning to work 2x2 ribbing.
So I loved the Sentro SO much and then after I started making more beanies the sentro machine started skipping and then broke. Do you still love it months later?
The Sentro definitely doesn't have the same reputation as the Addi for longevity! I personally don't use my Sentro as often because the Addi is just higher quality for me! Thank you for sharing your experience!
I had the loops and threads knitting machine from Michaels, it worked good until it didn't The gears worn down and it was horrid. I have purchased an Addi King, but have not used it yet. I plan on breaking it out of the box within the next few weeks.
Thanks! And should I get a 40 or a 48 to start out with for most sales where I live. I live in a warmer climate than where you're from, although it does get cold here during winters.
Thank you for this vid. What yarns are your fav with these? Any you’d stay away from? (Reading captions, so may have missed it.). Love and light to you!
I would definitely recommend staying away from velvet yarns! They tend to worm much easier, and need to be worked slower and more deliberately on these machines, which is not efficient!
If you have a piece of glass cut to fit under the feet, they will suction better. Possibly, even plexiglass will work. I'm having problems with it using med wt yarn. Mine will only use 3 wt right now. I need to see what the issue is with it. I have a Sentro 40, Addi 46 and just got the Addi 22. All that in just 2 weeks! LOL I'm addicted to them.
I just recently bought a 48 needle Sentro and it’s awesome so far, I do have to say that the suction cups are pretty weak on surfaces that aren’t glass… But other than that, it’s pretty awesome for the price and it’s efficient :)
So the Sentro works great at first, but the suction cups stop working after awhile and the counter doesn’t work right after awhile too. The Addi takes more yarn types than the Sentro for sure- at least in my experience. I would say Sentro is great for beginner but in the long run Addi is superior in my humble opinion :)
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with it! I haven't it that long, so I haven't experienced any of those issues yet, but I'll be sure to update everyone on any future insights!
I have the sentro and i can not recommend the adapter enough. I have problems with my arms so all the winding would just kill me off 😂 so i got the adapter that you connect a drill to and its amazing ! I made 6 hats and 4 scarves in 2 hours 😂
Camryn, do you think a purchase of a sentro 48 or 40 would be a good buy to make and sell items for business purposes in order to buy an addi for business?
Are those Mabel chickens I see in the background?? Sooooo cute!! The timing of this video is perfect for me. I’m thinking of maybe upgrading my Sentro to an Addi, so thank you for putting this one up 🙂
😂 I have short nails and yes, I struggled with the screws and the suction cups as well. I have yet to use mine, need to look up instructional videos. This one is the same as Sentro. Also, I broke the tension tool and had to re-order another one.
Oh no! I'm sorry you had to order a whole new tension tool before you've even got the chance to use it! Let me know what you think of it when you do start making projects on it! ❤️
I recently got a 40 needle sentro. I used it for about a week and the arm messed up. It’s acting like a stripped out screw. :/. I was really enjoying it too. May have to invest in the Addi.
Hi ,,try putting the scution caps in very hot water and then they will go on very eazzy i had the same issues as well ..happy cranking .after a while my arm was to sore to crank any more as it takes a toll on you and mine in the end went into the bin …so hope you have great prouduction with yours ,,
Thank you for this! Could you maybe use the sentro for a determinate period of time (30days or so) specifically for your business demands and put it to that test and let us know if it met your needs after being accustomed the the addi? That would be such a great way to evaluate the sentro by holding it to the standard of your existing business’ production quality/rates. If it’s not holding up I think the issues would appear very obvious to you since you’re experienced and have an existing flow rate! And obviously if it’s ruining your product throughput, kick it to the sidelines again and call it a data point. That would be such helpful info but obviously, do whatever you think is best as a follow up!! I love your business and the way you run it!!
Thank you so much! I will definitely consider giving the Sentro a work period like you’ve described! You’re very right that that would give a clear data source which I can relay to you all!
Thanks for sharing your experiences! I haven't used it as long as you and others, so I haven't come across those issues, but I'll be sure to give another review later on after some time using it!
Camryn, what all does the sentro 48 make and how are sales for your business? Have you tried the 40 yet and are you or will the 48 do best? I know you crochet lots of baby beanies!
it does have an adapter you can add that makes it electric!!!! I wonder how this would work with boucle yarns? I have may skeins of this type but where I live now, not much call for blankets or hats!
I have 3 sizes of sentro machines. There is 4 different names for Sentro machines. I had to use a flathead screwdriver to get on suction cups. They work for keeping it to my table even when my 3 and 5 yr old grandchildren make something. I like the 22 pin for headbands for children and 40 pin for adults, use the 40 for newborn hats and toddler through adult I use the 48 with different row counts.
Does the sentro 48 make adult size beanies and are they over large? I like the beanies that don't fit too tightly. I've also seen tutorials showing that the 48 makes headbands and earwarmers. What is your experience? I want to make a good income.
48 make adult size hats. Depending upon tension you can go from 20 to about 22 in but it looks loose and poor quality. I found it about 20.5 with good tension that look good.
I have an addi and love it, but I do wish it was pink and white instead of black and red😂. I’m interested in knowing if the smaller machines make smaller beanies though like for little ones.
I got the sentro so I could try the machine knit hats for donations instead of doing by hand. I had no problems with assembly so I’m definitely thinking it was your nails. It can be fussy with some yarns but since I’m not using for business I just know which are better for the machine. I got mine from an Amazon return seller so I ended up paying even less than you so it will be good for now.
Thank you for sharing your experience, and thank you for such charitable work! ❤️ I think it's wonderful you are able to spread joy, warmth, and love through crochet!
Hi darling! I love your videos so much 😊 you are so talented and so much fun! I have a question on the Sentro machine. Does the 48 needles work for the baby hats too? Or do I need a machine with less needles? Thank you so much for your help 🤗 you are the best!
I definitely suggest using a smaller machine! I've yet to make small beanies on the Sentro, but I have made newborn hats on my Addi with really high tension, and while it works, a smaller machine would make it much simpler!
First off all i would like to thank you for this comparison❤ but i have a different question too...would you mind telling me the brand of your glasses? I love them! 😅
It should’ve come with a tension thingy. Also, your stitch count might not be accurate if you don’t start with the white pin. The suction cup will stay in place better on a glass tabletop or hard plastic with no pores.
With time, the Sentro has definitely shown some issues with durability! I absolutely choose my Addi over it, but for the price tag, Sentro isn't a bad option!
Firstly soak the suction cups in warm to hot water to make the m pliable and easier to attach.. Secondly before you suction down the machine dampen the suction pads for way better suction.
I started with the sentros both the 22 and 48. Had to replace the 22 peg right away jamming. The 48 pegs counter never worked and they both dropped stiches alot. I purchased both Addis well worth the extra money wish i would have bought them first. Lesson learned. I also bought the electronic turner for both..... GAME CHANGER!
I should introduce you to the automatic crank you don’t even have to turn it yourself it’s hands-free 😂 I have four machines and Addi’s, Sentro and Michaels brand blue and white one.
You have four?? Which one do you like the best? And I've certainly thought about those automatic crank ones, but for the moment I'm still doing it by hand!
That's very true that there is a significant price difference! And the Sentro is not bad, and I recommend people get it if they want a knitting machine and don't want to pay for an Addi! But, I do feel like the Addi is more solidly built and more reliable!
I own both machines. There is no comparison between the sentro and Addi in my opinion. You can use more yarns with the Addi, it rarely drops a stich without a reason usually operator error, and blows the doors off the sentro. The sentro also doesn't clamp down as good. This is like comparing a kid's toy oven set to a real kitchen oven and asking which one cooks better. I hear people the sentro is good for beginners but all it did was frustrate me as a beginner where as the Addi actually worked well
My daughter gave me an off name circular knitting machine for Christmas.Looks like the pink one you have except no row counter. Mine is a KRAFTCO; same color, same yarn.
I hope you have good luck with yr sentro mine can't come close to my Addi I love my Addi, Every kind of yarn that the sentro won't work with my Addi had no trouble working with it.. Ever since I got my sentro I had nothing but trouble Mine is so picky on what yarn it will work with, my counter never worked the suction cups were a waste of time no suction... Maybe you got lucky with yr sentro machine. I hate my sentro. My husband bought me an addi king this past Xmas I love it, it's quieter it runs so smooth it's so much better than the sentro... I've had my sentro for 3 years & I have only been able to make 4 hats Total, all different yarn because my machine was a dud.
They yarn that comes with it I used to make a beanie it made a really nice one. My suck on cups only go on same amount. My counter works well. I need to practice more I had a run on stitches falling off. I had no idea what I was doing wrong. But I’m getting better at it. Mine was a free gift from Temu! I also got the mini one free.
I have the Sentro and there's a reason they give you screw drivers. I've had it for 3 months and have had to take it apart twice. Ill be buying an Addi and throwing away the sentro.
@@camryns_cute_creations to me, from what I've seen online, it seems to be relatively minimal. But I will keep looking for more info and reviews before making a final decision.
Hey friends! I would love to hear which knitting machine(s) you own and how you love them! :)
I just got the sentry this week. First time using one and so far I like it
Did your sentro break? no update?
I received the SENTRO for mother’s day. I love it (after I got over the Love/Hate phase) I have actually made many Bday and Christmas gifts since
I have 2 Addie's and 3 Sentro's....The "Lash-yarn" is doing better on the addie but I love the working of the Sentro's the most.

Thank you so much for doing this comparison! Has anyone made socks? Does it only make one size round?
They do come in different sizes, but each machine itself makes one size, as far as I am aware. I do not know of any attachments that change the size!

The central seem like amount for the handle, and you can attach a little thing for a screwdriver, and then just power it like that
I've heard a lot of people say you can do that! I've yet to try it, though!
can we get an update on how the sentro is holding up? I'm thinking about getting one, but not sure if I should go for the addi or sentro.

Hello Camryn, I have the baby Addi machine and the hats come out ADORABLE!! But I do LOVE Pink and that machine is pretty!!❤🥰
I don't have the baby Addi yet, but I've been wanting to get it for a while!! Thanks for sharing your experience!
neat video, can you use your chenille, thicker wool on your knitting machine?
Thicker yarns do not do as well on the machines, as well as more delicate yarns, like velvet!
Thank you, love your videos!!@@camryns_cute_creations
Does either machine provide patterns to create different hats?
I have not tried the Addi but I actually had some really good results with the Sentro knitting machines. A selling point for me personally is the 48 stitches vs 46. Those two stitches make a difference! Especially if you are planning to work 2x2 ribbing.
So I loved the Sentro SO much and then after I started making more beanies the sentro machine started skipping and then broke. Do you still love it months later?
The Sentro definitely doesn't have the same reputation as the Addi for longevity! I personally don't use my Sentro as often because the Addi is just higher quality for me!
Thank you for sharing your experience!
I have the sentro still learning how to use it.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on it after you use it for a while!
I had the loops and threads knitting machine from Michaels, it worked good until it didn't The gears worn down and it was horrid. I have purchased an Addi King, but have not used it yet. I plan on breaking it out of the box within the next few weeks.
Thank you for sharing your experience! I'd love to hear what you think of it when you start using it!
Camryn, u want to purchase a 48 sentro knitting machine. However, what size table would I need for a small space?
Hi there! They aren't terribly large, so I would say if you have 2x2 ft of free table space, that should work!
Thanks! And should I get a 40 or a 48 to start out with for most sales where I live. I live in a warmer climate than where you're from, although it does get cold here during winters.
This is why I don't do fake or really long nails any more. I like doing stuff more.
Totally! They can definitely get in the way!!
I am curious to see this. I have the Sentro. It works good, but the suction cups don’t.
Many people have said the same thing about the suction cups! Thank you for sharing your experience!
Hello I hope when you read this message you're doing well, and I have a question for you this machine can make sweaters.
Oh my gosh, you're just on a mission to get all the machines!! 😂 Thank you so much for sharing your experience!
I just recently bought a 48 needle Sentro and it’s awesome so far, I do have to say that the suction cups are pretty weak on surfaces that aren’t glass… But other than that, it’s pretty awesome for the price and it’s efficient :)
I have the pink one and I love mine. I have made so many hats
Just received my Sentro and, yeah, I left some hair in my beanie while making it. 😂 Definitely not bad for the price.
I hate when that happens!! The curse of long hair!
I just got the sentro from Temu it was on sale/flashdeal it was only $3.86 for the 40 needles.
Wow! That's such a great deal!!
Hi. Would you mind sharing what is your experience so far with your Sentro from Temu?
how do you cast off???
can you make a tutorial?
I actually have a video that explains this! ua-cam.com/video/MQ2mBExUtnU/v-deo.html
Are those Mabel chickens I see in the background?? Sooooo cute!!
The timing of this video is perfect for me. I’m thinking of maybe upgrading my Sentro to an Addi, so thank you for putting this one up 🙂
I'm glad I was able to help with your consideration! ❤️
I must say that I've never had an issue with my Addi after years of use!
Hi ,,try putting the scution caps in very hot water and then they will go on very eazzy i had the same issues as well ..happy cranking .after a while my arm was to sore to crank any more as it takes a toll on you and mine in the end went into the bin …so hope you have great prouduction with yours ,,
Thank you for the advice!! And thank you for sharing your experience :)
Could you do a video about the things you make on the knitting machine? Do you just do the beanies?
Mine has a tension , but my counter quit working after a few beanies and it drops a skip .
I've not yet tried boucle yarns on any machine! I think I'll have to now that you mention it! 😊
great comparison ❤
I'm really glad you liked it! Thank you!
Ty for sharing. I was wondering why the big price difference.
They are different systems with different benefits! I'm glad you were able to derive valuable information from the video! 😊😁
@@camryns_cute_creations The Sentro is made cheaply in China. The Addi is made in Germany and is built to last.
Thank you for sharing your experiences! I've yet to try many of the different sizes, but I'm eager to! ❤️
I'm thinking of getting the 32 pin Sentro to do slipper socks. 46 is too many pins and 22 is way too few.
I'm thinking of getting the 32 pin Sentro to do slipper socks. 46 is too many pins and 22 is way too few.
I've worn out 4 sentros in 2 yrs. I'm done with Sentro and purchased the Addi.
I had no luck with the sentro. I bought two of them and sent them both back. Drops too many stitches. My addi never drops.
The Addi definitely rarely ever drops for me! (Unless I'm cranking like a madwoman panic prepping 😂😂😂)
Thanks for sharing!
I have an addi and love it, but I do wish it was pink and white instead of black and red😂. I’m interested in knowing if the smaller machines make smaller beanies though like for little ones.
They do make them smaller! And I do agree, a white and pink one would be amazing! 😂
Mine does not slide at all. The grips hold quite strongly. 🤷♀️
That's good!! I'm glad it's been working out quite well for you! What are your overall thoughts of it? :)
Now, I need to know... did the Sentro hold up?
I hope to do an update video on this topic one day! But, generally I do not use my Sentro and just use my Addi!
That's great that its been good! I plan on revisiting the Sentro soon to get another opinion! I love that you're making hats for donations :)
I love my Addi. Made hundreds of hats for children in Romania and the homeless on the streets. Do not have the sentro.
I have the sentro and love it ❤
I'm liking it too! Thanks for sharing your experience ❤️ What's your favorite thing you've made with it??
@@camryns_cute_creations I make beanies but my favourite thing I make is these cute snowmen. They sell out at my Christmas markets every year 😊
Yes i loved mine on the first use. Even on the third use. But that doesn't last.
Thank you for sharing your experience! I've been wanting to go back and try it again to give an updated review!
I have the sentro it has a row counter and a tension holder
Awesome! :) I ended up finding the tension holder haha:)
First off all i would like to thank you for this comparison❤ but i have a different question too...would you mind telling me the brand of your glasses? I love them! 😅
I used the screwdriver to push the suction cups in
Love to video on you making one of your beanies on the sentro
I can totally do that! :)
It should’ve come with a tension thingy. Also, your stitch count might not be accurate if you don’t start with the white pin. The suction cup will stay in place better on a glass tabletop or hard plastic with no pores.
Thank you for the advice and sharing your experiences! I'll keep those in mind as I continue with new projects on it! 😁😊
So far was it worth getting it?
With time, the Sentro has definitely shown some issues with durability! I absolutely choose my Addi over it, but for the price tag, Sentro isn't a bad option!
Try putting a towel underneath the knitting machine so it won't keep moving. That's what my mom does for my nebulizer machine
Firstly soak the suction cups in warm to hot water to make the m pliable and easier to attach..
Secondly before you suction down the machine dampen the suction pads for way better suction.
Thank you very much for the advice!! I'll try that :)
I tried velvet bernat yarn....worms everywhere lol i think it was too thin, may work better with chunkier velvet
Bernat velvet is my absolute FAVORITE yarn, but it really hasn't worked well for me on any knitting machines! Like you said, it gets pretty wormy!
I just got a sentro. It's due to get here in the morning.
I'm so excited for you! Please let me know what your thoughts are on it once you use it for a bit!
I've been so considering the electronic turner!!! You may have convinced me :)
I'm happy with the electric turner on the Addi. I never had it for my Sentro and I don't think I'd use on on that. It gets stuck so often.
I skipped the suction cups. I didn't want it sticking to the table anyway
Thanks for sharing! How do you like it? :)
There is a tension thing. You have to put it on,
Yes! I totally missed that at first, but I did end up finding it and put it on there!
I could buy 5 of the 48 needle sentro machines for the cost of 1 addi machine of the same size....
That's very true that there is a significant price difference! And the Sentro is not bad, and I recommend people get it if they want a knitting machine and don't want to pay for an Addi! But, I do feel like the Addi is more solidly built and more reliable!
When using a knitting machine, is it early handmade? Just curious of other options
What is your favorite yarn for using on your Sentro?
I love using the brand "I love this yarn" from Hobby Lobby :)
I hear people the sentro is good for beginners but all it did was frustrate me as a beginner where as the Addi actually worked well
Thank you for sharing your experience! I agree that Addi is very worth it's cost!
My daughter gave me an off name circular knitting machine for Christmas.Looks like the pink one you have except no row counter. Mine is a KRAFTCO; same color, same yarn.
That's an awesome gift! I'll have to check it out! What are your thoughts on it??
I'm very sorry your experience with the Sentro was not good! I totally agree though that the Addi is the more worthwhile investment!
I only have the sentry and it came BROKEN 😭 thank god for super glue
Oh my gosh! I'm sorry :( But, yes, thank goodness for super glue! 😂😂❤️
Thank you for sharing your experience! I'm glad you're enjoying your experience with it, and improving as well!
I definitely want to buy one
But I wish you had a video of you actually making a beanie on the cheaper machine 😊
I plan on doing an update video on the Sentro after I've used it for some time! Thank you for your feedback :)
I have the Sentro and there's a reason they give you screw drivers. I've had it for 3 months and have had to take it apart twice. Ill be buying an Addi and throwing away the sentro.
The way I look at it, I can buy 3 Sentro machines for less than 1 Addi.
That is very true! However, the difference in price does represent a difference in quality, too!
@@camryns_cute_creations to me, from what I've seen online, it seems to be relatively minimal. But I will keep looking for more info and reviews before making a final decision.
Use the screwdriver
