REAL LIFE FACT: For the construction of the gun, the US wanted something multirole: a gun-missile-launcher for their Shillelagh missiles (or something like that). This was done to avoid having to mount an entirely separate missile launcher. It significantly reduced barrel life to something like 400 rounds and wasn’t very liked by crews because gunpowder residue could detonate a shell being loaded and blast back and scar the crew for life. Sheridan was also supposed to be an airdropped vehicle, deployed during Operation “Just Cause” (invasion of Panama) to moderate success.
WG has a policy that they can't nerf any premiums because people buy the tank and if it got nerfed people would be disappointed and not buy again or possible leave the game. It's annoying but it is the reality we have to deal with.
i once had a game with the sheridan where i died and somehow glitched out the map i was on 4.8k damage and then the glitch pushed me back into the map so fast that i hit an enemy player with my sheridans dead body and instantly killed him and guess what i got more damage for that somehow😅
A real shame that even though I've had this tank for 2 years and counting, my rng has never let me high roll. Then again, it's likely all invested into the dozens of ammoracks I've done with this absolute unit of a light amphibious tank.
