I've recently come back to the Lord after 10 years. I get very worried about the supernatural stuff because I don't want it to become my focus. When I was younger, that is how I knew God, but I never really knew him. It was always about going to church to get the experience and then on Monday I was filled with guilt and condemnation because I was focused on works and then experiencing his power in miracles and wonders. I saw visions and gave prophesy, and that was my standard for knowing him. I don't want to miss out on God's glory and power but I'm so afraid of it taking away up all the room in my heart, if that makes sense? I could be way off, but I'm learning. I just know one thing: I'm hungry for him and I'm desperate. That's all I have and know at this point. He's good!!
Stephanie Weston Hi Stephanie, I think that you are on the right track being hungry for Jesus. If you keep your eyes on Him the supernatural things that happen in His presence won’t be a distraction. They will be a byproduct. Also, get into His word and ask Him to reveal himself through His word. God bless you in your pursuit of Him.
Cheryl S Brown here...(David's wife)...we live in the FL Keys and sure can relate to Irma! 189mph winds here...sigh...the breathe of God is even MORE POWERFUL than Irma! I LOVE how you give way completely to the work of the Holy Spirit! The anointing is so very different in this conference than in #Fire2018. He is ever moving in ways we cannot begin to comprehend! It is best to just get out of His way as you have so rightly said! After the FIRE in Jacksonville in February, I have begun to see things in the Spirit such as emeralds the size of large gravel. I did not understand then but I do NOW! Thank You Jesus and God Bless you Brian!
