One of my favorite things about the manga had always been the scars left from petrification giving them all badass tattoos that slightly reflect their character. Gen's of course being the chomping teeth to showcase his biting wit and dangerous talents. So when even his markings were altered to appear less threatening it was fucking hilarious.
Yeah, some panels even make the scar look like it's the one doing the talking
Knowing Gen, the scar is actually not as impressive as we see it now, and he painted over it to compensate
Im kind of sad they lost their scars. They were there when it first happened, and lived to tell the tale. Thats what those scars say.
@@waves2378They're back!!! They're not scars now per se, but battle markings that still reflected their original marks! Super happy it came back, Gen's was awesome. Tsukasa's mark was badass as well.
