Each of the "major" brands newest drivers by price: $600: Callaway Paradym, Taylormade Stealth 2, Titleist TSR $580: Ping G430 $550: Cobra Aerojet $500: Srixon MkII, Mizuno ST 220 $350: PXG Gen 5 (*seems to always be on sale, so I'm using that price)
More driver testing by Michael please! His swing is the closest to mine out of any driver review I've seen. Inside out with a negative attack angle is rare for online reviewers.
Would love to see testing of the new drivers with swing speeds in the low to mid 90’s as it is more relevant to many subscribers of your channel. A realistic review would also include an average ball striker who doesn’t find the center of the club often. 😂
The comment about going up in loft is so true. I normally fit into a 9 degree head and was just fit into the ZX5 LS 9.5 turned up to 10.5 and gained ball speed as well as accuracy.
Out of all the new drivers the paradaym and the Srixon zx7 have been the best ones for me. I hated the the 1st Gen srixon so when I grabbed the mkII I had very low expectations but it felt incredible. Srixon is a very slept on brand. irons feel great and so does the new driver. Definitely the most bang for your buck
@@ariesnc6320 I have. The MKII was significantly better across the board with the same shaft. The MKII ZX5 LS is a rocket launcher. Both blew the Paradym out of the water and are $200 cheaper.
I'm a fan of Srixon but please tell us who on " Tour" is playing a Srixon Driver ? I recall most of their Staff players aren't similar to Mizuno Staff players for the most part.
Come on Eddie the lst driver was a s fast as anything what are we talking about 1 mph in the toe. Ler me know when the COR thresholds go up and then it's time to shop for a new head. They can't ho any further, neither can the ball. The ball and the head are limited.
I really hope people aren't buying a new driver because it is 50 to 75 dollars cheaper. If your spending over 500 dollars on something just pay the little extra if it is a better fit or if you like the slightly more expensive one better. I would much rather have the driver that looks, feels, sounds, and most importantly performs the best. Otherwise you are left with a 500.00$ plus golf club your never going to be truly happy with.
So disappointed in our Cleveland “ expert” Eddies’ break down of the new line. It’s 2023 and using words like magic more than once or pretending to see ball speed increases so large he’s afraid to divulge because no one would believe him is sup insulting this guy has sleazy 1980s used car sales man written all over it someone let him know he’s dealing with an informed consumer who not only can understand, but is also interested in the technical improvements made in this iteration. Instead we get the classic deceptively vauge marketing speak the golf industry is all too familiar with perpetuated by individuals like this with no real substance behind their words. Was the driver designed by the American or Japanese engineers? Why wasn’t carbon used in this iteration?

If you want to watch somebody that sucks test these drivers go hit them yourself.
I cant wait to buy all these new clubs second hand! The direction of current club prices is disgusting...
Yeah or grab an ex demo at the end of the season

Im thinking of going this route.. I have an issue with path right now.. lowering spin and closing the face with more loft would be helpful.

Really looking forward to adding the LS to my bag to go with my ZX7 irons.
I hit my friends ZX7 MKII when it dropped. I saw the same gains with forgiveness and consistency. I have 1 on the way.
Have you compared the new driver to previous Srixon driver ?

Why did you choose the zx7 as opposed to the ZX5 LS?@@JasonSmith-gy2mr
Pretty bummed. Thomas and Drew made a great team together! Nothing against the new team. Hope Thomas does well in his new venture.
We are bummed as well but also happy for Thomas! Thanks for watching!
Is a 1.45 smash factor really that fast? Haven't I seen plenty of reviews for drivers with 1.47+?
Great video. Is the ZX5 and ZX5 LS the exact same footprint other than the weight being flip flopped?
Yep!
How has the latest edition of Cleveland XL drivers been doing in your fittings? What kind of player likes them?

Matsuyama won the masters with it.
Brooks just won the PGA Championship with it lol.
Fox just won BMW with it
Does Cleveland Golf make the Srixon ZX MK II models?
Geiger ball speed? The guy can MOVE it
🔥
Is Thomas ok?
Thomas left to do instruction. It was on his Instagram
Will he have a UA-cam channel?
what about the zx7?
They won’t sell at the price point.£499 in Scotland.
Thomas leave?
I hope not. Thomas is great.
He left, starting at a new place opening soon.

I'm afraid I just can't take this review seriously when the clubs are referred to as Zee X instead of Zed X. Harumph!
😉

I can't believe how much you guys repeat yourself. Once you said something no need to repeat it 20+ times.
Here's the thing, you tube lets us rewind 😀
