I'm wondering how the 6 is be the divided? Usually people used 3,14 or 6,28 or 12,56. Is it the same calculation or what?
I used 6 instead of 6,28. So I give seam allowance to get 6,28. You are right we use 2 pi number. This is the practical way of cutting by giving seam allowance. Loves♥️🥰

Great tutorial! My fabric is 350 cm's long, do i still divide my waist by 6 or another number?
If you want to make full circle skirt you should divide into 6; but if you want to make half circle skirt you should divide into 3. Please look at my playlist for circle skirts. You can find many options there. Good luck ❤️❤️❤️

Why waist divide by 6 instead of 4. There are 4 foulds of cloth.
This is 2 pi number(2x3,14) . I used 6 instead of 6,28 . You know pi number is for the radius of circle♥️

This is so helpful! I'm trying to make my prom dress at the moment and I've been struggling so hard with finding an easy long skirt. I do have two small questions- Do I need to include seam allowance to the width of my waist measurement? (For when I sew the main panels together) and can I cut my skirt into three pieces without causing any issues? (I.e two quarters and a half) I've not made very many garments yet so I'm sorry if these questions are stupid! Thank you so much for the tutorial

Why waist divided by 6 and not 4?
It is because of 2 number pi for radius ( 6.28 but I use 6 by leaving seam allowance instaed of 6.28) ❤️❤️❤️

2cm is not a problem. Only the length of skirt would be -2cm🥰♥️
