Interview With The Rt Hon. the Baroness Hale of Richmond DBE - Trinity Barristers Chambers

Trinity Chambers was delighted to collaborate with Family Law Solicitor and Partner Oluwapelumi Amanda Adeola when she recently had the opportunity to interview The Rt Hon. the Baroness Hale of Richmond DBE at her North Yorkshire home.
During the informal interview, Lady Hale discusses her family life, time at the Bar and academia. She also highlights the many 'firsts' in her career, including being the first woman to be appointed to the Law Commission, the only woman to be appointed Lord of Appeal in Ordinary in the House of Lords and ultimately becoming President of the Supreme Court from 2017 until her retirement in 2020.
The interview questions were compiled with input from a wide range of practitioners and admirers of Lady Hale's journey, which is chronicled in her book, 'Spider Woman: A Life'.
