Wrapping Silage Bales in Northwestern Minnesota

  • This is a little different way of wrapping silage bales compared to what we normally do. Hay just wasn't dry enough and we ended making some silage. This is organic alfalfa grown outside of Crookston, MN.

    Is that a standard McHale 998 or did you have to modify it. Thought max bale size was 5ft6

      Cool. I take it they were 8ft bales? Any idea on weight? And do you still use this method to make silage
