Hey schuey tried this on the weekend it was awesome that marinade with the gravy everyone loved it. Thanks for sharing your knowledge mate it has really upped my bbq game. Cheers
Thanks Schuey. Just got the rotisserie for the kettle can't wait to try the roast lamb over charcoal. Looks absolutely amazing. And of course, should be illegal...😃👍
hi Schuey, i love watching the video's i can tell that this is an early one, i just wish that you showed more of the vegie location in the Weber. cheers
I am going to cook with you. I haven’t worked out how I am going to get it to happen but I will. I have a lot of views but I don’t care about that I like how food brings people together
Schuey mate, where should the vent be for this rotisserie set up? Is the vent above one of the charcoal baskets or does it go towards to the pointy end of the lamb?
Hey Anthony Zaknich, maybe a little late, know idea why I didn't get a notification for your query. Yes mate, I've done it before the day before, it actually helps get a nicer crust 🍻
Great vid as always Dean! Did one last week and it was amazing but could be better so I'll follow this next cook :) Cheers mate and loving the new setup!
My wife and I just got a hold of this rotisserie extension for our Weber! Super excited and will be giving this video a try in a few days. Any pointers for first timers?
Thanks for watching Jeffrey Foster, I'd say don't start changing what you already know. Se up your Weber as you normally would. Too many people start putting the charcoal baskets under their meat as the rotisserie sits higher than the cooking grate, resulting in burnt food. Use the same amount of fuel as you normally do, should be two baskets of fuel to the sides of the charcoal grate, the rotisserie just allows what ever you are cooking to self baste itself in all of those glorious juices. 🍻
Hey Schuey! Do you have any issues with your ECPIN while the lid is on your kettle? I’ve tried mine and as soon as the lid goes on my phone needs to be almost on top of the BBQ to connect to the thermometer? Cheers 🍺
Have you seen me use it anymore? Yeah I had issues with connection as well mate. They apparently have a booster for it now but I moved on Merv Hughes 🍻
I'm trialing it at the moment and loving it so far. rover.ebay.com/rover/1/705-53470-19255-0/1?icep_ff3=2&pub=5575378759&campid=5338273189&customid=&icep_item=293724844747&ipn=psmain&icep_vectorid=229515&kwid=902099&mtid=824&kw=lg&toolid=11111
Thanks @michaelsaunders6705 different times. I took a break and focused on my kids and when I came back I stopped listening to what everyone else was telling me to do and just did my own thing.
Hey Steven G you're not the first to make the reference of old Uncle Chop Chop. I don't personally see it. Can I ask what made you think that, I'm super curious 🙂🍻
OMFG my hubby just made this for our dinner tonight and my tastebuds are having a party in my mouth!!! Per-bloody-fection Shuey! 🙌🎉

Hey Leo Franca, cheers for the support mate. 🍻
Schuey mate, where should the vent be for this rotisserie set up? Is the vent above one of the charcoal baskets or does it go towards to the pointy end of the lamb?
Thanks @warrenbertrand290 I tend to have the vent to the side when using a rotisserie mate
Going to try thins for Xmas in Ireland
Awesome JP Fourie, please let me know what you think when you do. Cheers mate 🍻
@@SchueysBBQ Rub done, resting till xmas
@@jpfourie2020 Hey Schueys BBQ
JP Fourie, awesome mate, I hope you and the family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🍻
I was wondering when you were going to cook up lamb. Well done as always!
Cheers mate, appreciate the support 🍻😏
Hey mate, love the vids looking to do this lamb roast on Easter Day, can you marinate with this paste 24 hours before?
Hey Anthony Zaknich, maybe a little late, know idea why I didn't get a notification for your query. Yes mate, I've done it before the day before, it actually helps get a nicer crust 🍻
I like to wrap a whole garlic in foil and put in weber half hour then squeeze it into the gravy. Mint sauce on the meat as a marinade is good too.
Hey Luke Beange, both sound like awesome ideas, cheers mate. 🍻
Great vid as always Dean! Did one last week and it was amazing but could be better so I'll follow this next cook :) Cheers mate and loving the new setup!
Cheers mate, let me know how you go 🍻👍
Hi Schuey what temperature did you set the thermometer? Did i miss that in your video?
Thank you @paullunardi9749, it was set to 59c (138f) and it will keep rising a few degrees and settles around 62c (143f) usually
@@SchueysBBQ thanks heaps
We like meat served hot, but the 30minute rest might cool the meat too much?
Suggestions?
The meat will still be hot at 30 minutes, I do it all the time. Meat starts loosing heat once you slice into it @bradreinhardt3203
You roasted that Leg of Lamb Just Right!!!

@@SchueysBBQ Thank you so much for the response and advice! I'll be sure to reply with how it turns out.
Damn you Schuey. Now I want lamb roast but it’s not allowed in the house.
We'll catch up soon and have a cook up mate 👍🥃🍻
where did you get that tiny decorative grill? Is it functional?
I was wondering about that pan, is it metal? Would a weber tinfoil tray be fine to use?
A tin foil pan would be fine Daryn 🍻
Get yourself a KJ by the way man ;)
I'm bringing in a few different brands of BBQ's and a KJ could be on the cards toffeetop0 🍻
Great job. I would love to have seen what you did to prep your spuds and carrots as well. Was that an onion ring the carrots were in?
Magical secrets I only share with a select few 😏😂
Where did you get the rotisserie ?
Great video, I will be trying this soon. Was that a whole leg of lamb with the shank and bones? Thanks
Thanks Daryn, it was the leg minus the shank 🍻
@@SchueysBBQ thanks for taking the time to reply. Im looking forward to trying this out.
Mate, you have to do a video of you doing a shoey!
Hey House Chef, cheers mate. You're not the first to ask and most likely won't be the last HaHa 🍻
Mate! That’s why you want to cook low and slow… you get to drink more than 4 beers😂😂
Jokes aside, cooking this recipe over the ditch in Auckland today. Thanks!
Thanks @mitchelldenysschen3224 you can also start drinking before you cook 😂
I wonder if the guy with the car is related to the guy with the lawn mower.
