90% Muslims namaz mein nahin hai
In order to save money Trustees have appointed Imams on freelance basis. They are there in masjid for few minutes to discharge their duties of imamat and then spend their time taking private arabic tuitions visiting homes.
These imams should be paid on full time basis and targets given to imams to increase number of namazis in masjid starting with 5% every quarter. This is similar to sales target. Yearly Salary increment should be proportional to % increase in namazi every year.
There are so many Trustees who want to save money from imam salary so that they can invest in their personal business money that belongs to masjid funds.
Then there are others who want to unnecessarily spend money so that the work contract can be given to their favourite contractor from where they can receive bribes or they form dummy companies to take contract and get profit. All unnecessary spending instead of paying imam and masjid staff. Imams should work full time to bring ummah to the path of deen so that they are protected from falling into bad habits bringing peace to home and society. Infact a fatwa should be issued by Muftis and islamic scholars on this subject.
