jojo has been a classic in Japan since decade ago, pretty much on a par with DBZ, Naruto and One Piece. It's only after it got animated in 2012 the west started to pay attention to it. I actually began digging the manga back in 2008 after a Japanese friend of mine recommended me to read it.

*SPOILERS* Ending was a good idea, but Shonen Jump rushed Araki, so it went too fast. It's kinda jarring to kill every main character at once in a single panel, and we didn't get enough information about the new Irene Universe. (Does Dio still exist? If he doesn't exist then how do George II and Lisa Lisa meet? Does Jolyne have a better relationship with her father?)
JP GanjAX part 6 highlights a very important part in all great anime/series. It symbolizes the end of an era, the passing of the torch in a more literal way than with the changing of main protagonists through the parts. It symbolizes the joined effort of a group in again, defeating the ultimate evil that is DIO, but in a way where he doesn’t need even be in the part to show how the effects of the previous parts have lead up to this climax.
I mean, there will be more intros so... Just imagine, part 2 (or 3) beginning with a black screen and then a drop falls and the choir starts singing. The song may be completely different but this little refference would be enough.

I’m going to be honest I’ve probably watched this intro at least 75 times and I’m amazed with how well this intro is every time. The beginning part with Pucci’s cycle of acceleration of the universe is brilliant. Then throughout the intro adding little additions that make sense as you progress through the story of part 6. Like the fight with Pucci and Jolyne in the grass area in the middle of the part, Dio’s connection to this part, green baby, weather reports silhouette shown with Pucci, every little part that doesn’t make sense until you watch the part where it’s relevant. People say these are spoilers and expect for the weather report/emporio combo near the end that doesn’t really apply. A spoiler implies that someone who is exposed to stone ocean and has no prior knowledge to the part could possibly make sense of what is being shown which isn’t true. However when someone does watch the part where the “spoiler” takes place they watch the intro again and can finally know the significance of reference in the intro. Like I mentioned before weather report and Pucci’s relationship. Before getting to that point in the story you have no idea why they are grouped together and once it’s shown they are actually twins you have a bit more appreciation for the intro. This intro does this phenomenally, all except for maybe the empoiro part at the end. This intro is an incredible work of art and I hope whoever made this parody of the evangelion opening got a job somewhere for this because they did an amazing job and hopefully it payed off for them. It's kinda jarring to kill every main character at once in a single panel, and we didn't get enough information about the new Irene Universe. (Does Dio still exist? If he doesn't exist then how do George II and Lisa Lisa meet? Does Jolyne have a better relationship with her father?)

JP GanjAX part 6 highlights a very important part in all great anime/series. It symbolizes the end of an era, the passing of the torch in a more literal way than with the changing of main protagonists through the parts. It symbolizes the joined effort of a group in again, defeating the ultimate evil that is DIO, but in a way where he doesn’t need even be in the part to show how the effects of the previous parts have lead up to this climax.

I’m going to be honest I’ve probably watched this intro at least 75 times and I’m amazed with how well this intro is every time. The beginning part with Pucci’s cycle of acceleration of the universe is brilliant. Then throughout the intro adding little additions that make sense as you progress through the story of part 6. Like the fight with Pucci and Jolyne in the grass area in the middle of the part, Dio’s connection to this part, green baby, weather reports silhouette shown with Pucci, every little part that doesn’t make sense until you watch the part where it’s relevant. People say these are spoilers and expect for the weather report/emporio combo near the end that doesn’t really apply. A spoiler implies that someone who is exposed to stone ocean and has no prior knowledge to the part could possibly make sense of what is being shown which isn’t true. However when someone does watch the part where the “spoiler” takes place they watch the intro again and can finally know the significance of reference in the intro. Like I mentioned before weather report and Pucci’s relationship. Before getting to that point in the story you have no idea why they are grouped together and once it’s shown they are actually twins you have a bit more appreciation for the intro. This intro does this phenomenally, all except for maybe the empoiro part at the end. This intro is an incredible work of art and I hope whoever made this parody of the evangelion opening got a job somewhere for this because they did an amazing job and hopefully it payed off for them.
