it definitely sounded like he had fun with this one. Tho I do have to say, there is a minor error/bug/feature of foe tracer. in that the damage bonus actually only procs on the LIFE of the target player, not the effective HP of life and shields. this means that if the player only has 70 max life and 130 shields, the foe tracer perk only starts proc'ing on 21 life or less
it truly is an exotic bungie has forgotten about :(
(also, I'm surprised ya'll didn't pull out arthrys's embrace, with it's improved AA)

This is way Skyburners is my main. I just came back halfway through witch queen and I already have 28,000+ kills with it. Hipfired shots from Skyburners and weighted throwing knife is my favorite combo

@@spartan2sforever148 I just got this gun like 5 minutes ago and saw this video on my feed so I'm definitely gonna try. Hammer isn't gonna work like the knife tho. I've only played one game and this thing combined with grenades or any other scorch melts in pve. Im assuming scorch and a bigger radius for ignitions is the way to go for titans.

A buff is any positive change, so a good catalyst rework would still count as a buff
Remove the range nerf from the alt fire mode
This is the reason why we dont have any other non-bullpup scout rifles, because this is the true power of one.
i dont know how i didnt notice but there are so many bullpup guns in destiny its unreal

Lmao i've been using Skyburner and knife in Freelance Trials with good success, managed to get to 6 wins before i got stomped 5 games in a row.

Skyburner’s Oath works wonders with classy restoration as well, when paired with the fragment that gives class ability energy when scorching targets. Combined with the fragment that also extends restoration on kills.
It will pretty much give you constant restoration x2 for as long as you have enemies to fight. Works best in PVE since restoration has a longer duration than in PVP, but could be useful to get more classy restoration usage in a match

Funny story, I’ve been using Skyburner’s and Weighted knife combo for a while and I can agree with Reginald that it is both powerful and satisfying.

I just randomly got the Skyburners catalyst last night and found this video. Haven’t really played since Year 1 and my hunter only has 4 exotic armors but some how I have both foetracer AND Ophidius. Made this build and I have to say I’ve fallen in love with how it plays in both contents

Fun wavesplitter build for people who forgot siphon mods exist.
Bow + wavesplitter + siphon mod + taking charge + stacks on stacks + high energy fire + echo of starvation:
Wave splitter generates its own orbs, buffing it's damage with its exotic perk and high energy fire at the same time for 22 per crit in PvP, and this activates devour, all on 1 or pick up. :) :) :)

Love the vid. Skyburners is my favorite gun. I love the scorch but hate the loss of rpm and tracking when hip-firing. I usually say that I’d trade for the old version any day of the week but this build might just change that.

This is like the Calibambo Combo, but you don't need a special weapon or grenade. Just an INFINITE PRIMARY WEAPON.

This build is awesome - been using the similar Skyburner/Athrys build, for the past month and a half or so. Even got a triple 100 build with this exotic armor.
This is dope. Dope dope dope. One of the funniest PvE builds I found. The only times where I switch it is to use Caliban's Hand in PVP, aka the Wombo Combo.

Also you would not believe how useful foetracer is with sweet business. The bonus damage works really well, the wall hacks let’s you stay revved up for when they eventually peek from cover

Exotic 360 rpm Auto Rifle
Perk: Stack'em up
Eack kill will the weapon adds a stack of "Stack'em up." Each stack adds a small buff to damage, stability, and reload speed. Can long hold the reload button to switch to under barrel grenade launcher
The grenade launcher acts as a breach load GL with a 2.20 reload speed. Each shot comsume a charge of "Stack'em up". Kill with the GL do not add stacks of "Stack'em Up"
Catalyst: Knock'em Down
Firing the GL while ads fires a micro missle with almost no blast radius and high impact damage. Effective againt Unstoppable Champions.
The damage buff for Stack'em up would be 5, 10, and 15%. Buffs would not apply to the grenades. Stacks would only be lost on death of by being used to fire the GL. In Auto Rifle mode the weapon would still work with what ever season champion mods are available.

I use a similar build, making use of both rays of precision and solar fulmination. Observe that weighted throwing knife can kill with precision damage. With the fragment to apply radiant on powered melee hit, weighted throwing knife can proc rays of precision without needing to scorch. Further, we can apply the fragment to extend radiant on solar kills, so we can use any long range solar weapon in conjunction with our knife to chain ignitions at any range we want!

I always loved skyburners this solar season. I can make things ignite consistently and it was always a gentle weapon when you want to turn off your brain because of the tracking. Id say I treat it as Jotunn's younger brother. They both have the cabal toaster look

I self discovered this build lol but I use worm and cure grenade as well as picking up firespirits grant restoration and killing scorched targets grant melee and creates fire spirit. Basically I choose to not die

I think this build might be insane with athrys embrace because you can use the 2 bounce aimbot knife even without its damage perk active. With this you can tag someone with the burn from skyburners and then bounce the knife around the corner for a free kill. I use athrys pretty regularly in 6v6 gamemodes but instead of using skyburners I use the firebolt grenade and it worked really well. using skyburners on top of this would just be insane.
My thoughts exactly. I almost never take off Athrys when I'm on Solar (Now if they could buff Nighthawk back to its heights, that'd be swell). My fragments are already set up for knives and scorch, so I'll have to try this later this week.
Exotic Armor Idea:
Argus Curse
{Hunter Arm Armor}
[Intrinsic Perk]
-Pressing the grenade button again will turn it the grenade into an "Argus Eye", stopping the grenade in mid air and taking away the vision of all enemies who are in line of sight of the grenade.
-Enemies will only see the grenade if it's within their sights and can destroy it with shots to cancel the blind affect.
-Blind only last as long as the grenade is within line of sight and "Argus Eye" only last 8s.
-Explodes as a regular grenade if destroyed but will not explode if duration expires, consuming the grenade.
-Works in both PvP and PvE.
-Has a cooldown of 30s before being able to turn the grenade into an "Argus Eye" again.

Kinetic: Favorite lightweight weapon we chose multimach for maximum fire rate
Energy: 4th horseman go fast
Power: Hunter sword with assassins blade
Subclass: Bottom tree arc
Armor: Stompees
Jump: Strafe for maximum speed
Stats: max mobility all else is optional
Recommended mods: quick charge for handling buff on the horseman
Dodge: Marksman
Playstyle: ape like your life depends on it because it does and go very very fast
Exotic idea: the Fallen King.
Flavor text: kings and warlord ruled this land once… shaxx
Type: kinetic slot axe. (will only 2 shot if a guardian has 1 resilience)
Intrinsic perk: revenge
Intrinsic perk: Loyal subjects, once a shadow dies you gain health regeneration.
Exotic perk: The King: after five enemy eliminations a horde (10) of shadows will spawn. ( like shadow thralls)
Looks: like a traditional war axe but with darkness embedded into it.
Source: secret mission involving you racing with the vex to get to the axe in a castle like area. (Timer included)

When i saw it did scorch stacks, then the mod that made solar exotics produce scorch stacks, but it didnt work well, I was disappointed, I specked a build for it, and it turned out to not as good as other things I could do ;-; did nearly this exact build, but never got anywhere with it, it was fun in the rift Game mode, but I still sucked
I also used the 3 knives.
Been intending to focus on arc hunter, but been running solar for YAS enjoyment before the nerf hits... but then I got this. Yeah I think I'm staying on solar.
