I’d like to point out the level of comfort in the interview. The questions came and the answers went like a normal conversation and we were just a fly on the wall. Fantastic interview.
[T.I. Voice] Initially I was kind of perplexed by this acquisition.... But after listening to this interview and gaining an understanding of his philosophy this is Indubitably one of their best offseason moves!
Livingston love you already I can see why Coach is already saying national championship now!! Wow great men ty!!!!So encouraged and enthusiastic tyyy skkooo buffs!!!!
@@chatta6013 They played against 11 power 5 teams, the most in the country. The Pac 12 was hands down the the toughest conference in the country last year. Many defenses around the country would have crumbled against that schedule.
I am happy about and happy for Robert Livingston. I think he will have much success here, and ultimately be sought by other programs one day as a potential successful college football head coach hire. He exudes a great energy - confident, informed, genuine, relatable, grounded. He is a first time DC at a dynamic and growing college football program with tremendously high visibilty and expectations. No one should be expecting him to be the best ever DC in college football history this year. But there is the strong expectation and hope that our defense will be better, stronger, more consistent, more dynamic, and more successful this year. Then you keep building from there. Realistic, but also relentless. Go Buffs!
I believe these guys will flourish under Coach Livingston and t he staff. A wealth of knowledge. Plus building the foundation to where the guys can play fast and be lethal on defense. .last season we saw too much confusion.
It's almost time to cross that white line with pads all day ready for it, great philosophy of football taking place Neely, to hear it from CL is very refreshing for a change..... SKO BUFFS ‼️
Love UNC Neely; he can read people extremely well regardless people's race, age groups, or cultures, to why all of his interviews is consistenlly🔥🔥's. God bless you Unc
uh oh! he uttered the words "play fast"! sounds familiar! O_o lol nah...i like this guy! as long as he keeps his play-calling simplistic and let his dawgs be dawgs...he'll do just fine!
I Coach Livingston can make in game adjustments like shutting down slant routes, then CU will be successful. Also, he does not need to be on the field, he needs to work in the booth so that he can see the field and understand how the opposition is attacking.
The problem with CU was ZERO ability to make adjustments on the fly. Did we have an under sized defensive line - yes. Did we seem to have all sorts of issues with having the right number of people on the field- yes. Was there play calling confusion - yes. But the inability to make in-game adjustments in the secondary was infuriating. Kelly acted like he never saw a slant or a crossing pattern in his life. His reaction to what was happening during the game was beyond slow. Hopefully this will not be an issue this year with this new coach.
DC said, " open field tackles "...now how does the staff push the concept...better question which players work harder an get dat mean I here to put ur behind on the ground...Hard !!!
He definitely has the make-up to be a great college coach, but I do wonder about the learning curve he'll go through this year. It's going to be quite an adjustment going to college from 12 years in the NFL, and going from a position coach to a defensive coordinator, running a large staff, putting a game plan for the entire defense, and being a leader for 50 young adults. I think he can definitely get there, but it's going to be a big change for him.
Young. Smart. Inexperienced. Gonna be interesting. If things don't go well I hope Deion and his fan club don't do what they did to selected members of last year's staff.
Last year they didn't have the trenches last year and we all can admit that because of that they needed different plays called. How many times outside of TCU did you see Dylan Edward in space? They needed a quick screen game to slowdown the rush and there are multiple ways to do that even bubble screens to the WRs.
@@benwayeaimcreole1013 Google is your friend. Listen to some of Deion's own interviews. Kids were not quite where they needed to be. Coaches were not where they should have been. He threw everyone under the bus except himself and his kids. The public comments about the offensive line were disgraceful. Demoting an offensive coordinator averaging 32 points a game was mind boggling. I like Deion very much but the man will not be a great leader until he humbles himself.

Excellent hire by Coach Prime and his staff
I love you Uncle Neely. I jumped on this train at Jackson State and I'm still here. Let's get it!
Same here.
Was apprehensive about this hire.... But he's impressive

Yeah. Defense gonna stand on business this year!
He's going to be a head coach one year
great interview! For some reason i feel like this defense is going to be waaaaayyy better than last year!
Anything is better than the garbage that was on field last year. Literally a wet paper bag was better defense than last year.

@deerobinson557 the conference didn't have nothin 2 do with missed aggisnments, missed tackles and blocks, poor effort and many other things.
He was telling us that defense was too complex last season, and the players didn't really understand it . He is going to simplify it and play fast 👏🏾

I perceive that if CU makes it to a bowl game and has a double digit winning season, recruits will come, Go Buffs!🎉

Great job Uncle Neely. Checking in from Ghana 🇬🇭
Wow! I am truly impressed with our new DC Coach Livingston. One of the best interviews I have seen. Sko Buffs!
High football IQ. Livingston is going to be a great DC

The play fast stuff was the offense last year... defense can only play as fast as the opposing offense goes..
Awesome work!!!
Great interview Unc 💯

Indubitably 😂 That sent me. I read it just like TI
“There’s no great call on 2d and 2.”
Thanks
Yeah I like Livingston he’s about to have the whole defense apart of headache gang with Shilo 😂
❤❤ it👊
If this team can only just tackle better, they will be vastly improved.

Gotta get the players first
How much film will cover practice? Defense building? Does this become Team strategy confidential ???? or is football football......

I'll be so glad when Warren Sapp starts coaching this Dline.
