So many decent mics at reasonable prices these days compared to how it was only a years ago. This is a decent mic at the price point. I am still thinking Fifine has the best lower priced mics overall. That K669D is a low priced powerhouse if one has an interface and can use a dynamic mic. I am looking forward to what 2024 brings to the table so to speak. Looks like it is off to a great start. Thanks for sharing Bark.

Great video I really enjoyed it. I’ve been struggling to decide for a while now whether I should get the Fduce SL40 or the Feelworld PM1 since both are around the same price and both have there pros and cons witsh of them do you think is the better choice?
I personally like the feelworld. I am going to do a VS. of the feelworld and the xtech mic i did recently, to kind slim down the potential options of these cheap xlr/usb mics. The sl40 has kinda gotten passed by IMO

it wouldnt because the am8s mic capsule is square and the sm7b is circular

Well..possibly with a Mac....I know you can do a virtual input to make 2 USB mics work. But I've never done it

Glad to report that plugging in both mics works flawlessly in obs. However, monitoring both mics introduces a Delay making it unusable for the speakers. For headphoneless setups this is all you need.

Best feature to me was the extras in the box. That tiny mic stand extension tube. That would make mounting a Sure 55 style mic to almost any stand much easier, and the multi-headed USB-C to C/A cord is nifty.
The accessories were convenient ones. I'd equate a 7 score with solidly ok

What about the AM8? To me it sounds perfect
unfortunately this microphone does not come in this good price in Europe. it cost around $100 to $150 with import tax and regular tax and for that price I don't think it's worth it so that's a pity caus in that price range you can find cheaper mics that sounds just as good. the usb dynamic mic market had become really good as of late.
