Hey! I currently have a yamaha p-105, but was planning to upgrade to something like roland rd 2000. I also have a relatively cheap Dell inspiron 15, 5000 series laptop, which I am starting to use with ableton, and using my yamaha piano as a controller. My pc has 8gb ram, and an i5 processor wich isn't always working very good, when i am trying do use different vst's at the same time... Do you (or anyone else) have any recomendations? I was planning to buy the komplete 12 pack, but i don't know if my pc can handle the vst's very good.. Should I buy an expensive stage piano? Should i buy a better pc, like eg. Dell xps 13? Should I buy a good audio interface?? I am pretty new to this btw...

Hey Jake, have you ever had issues with your usb connect from the pedal to your Ableton laptop? I don't want to buy too long of a cable if it's going to delay. Probably need about 12ft of cable. What do you think?
Have you looked into QLab at all? We're moving to it for all show control. It will be the brain sending midi, timecode, video, etc. to other dedicated media machines.

It'd be worth getting the expander pedal for the looptimus. Can give you two more midi switches that are consistent no matter what bank you are in.

Hey Jake there is an easier way. I was at a worship conference in september and was in a class with Kristian Ponsford who is the UK rep for Multitracks.com and he runs Ableton and has all those cues built into his template, I believe Multitracks Abelton template is what he created. Handles his transitions. He showed one way he was going between the word You on a slide and back to a blank one rapidly as they held out that word singing a song. Does all his pro presenter and lighting cues.

Does this work just as well with ableton on PC? That’s one area that ableton on Mac is really superior- a lot of midi controllers that work well on Mac don’t work as well with windows
Jake, would you possibly consider selling some of the templates instead of the whole worship school? Some people like myself, just cannot afford the school, but would love this template.
Hi Jake, I have set up my midi foot controller to trigger 'play'. However, when I hit the button on my pedal, the audio begins playing but glitches slightly for the first half-second, every time, almost like a broken CD. Any tips on how to overcome this?
Would that foot pedal work similarly with the playback app? Or is it not compatible?
