Thank you for your kind words. Your message really means a lot. I put time into the video because I really care about the safety of you and other cyclists. As an update, I love the helmet I bought. I actually exchanged the white for a blue one, and then I put bright red and yellow wide reflective tape on it to make it highly visible at night. I wanted blue because the helmet looks really nice. The tape makes it more visible. The helmet itself is very comfortable. It fits perfectly and I don’t even realize I’m wearing it. Last week I wore it in the house for 1/2 hour because I forgot I was wearing it - it’s the lightweight. I’m talking about the Giro Aries Spherical bike helmet that was the #1 winning helmet in that test. I’m sure there are many other excellent helmets out there, but I just like knowing that I’m wearing the best I can get. I don’t like wasting money on stuff, but it’s your head in there and it’s worth it! If I do another video on bike helmets, do you have any questions or are there any other things you might like covered? I always find that. I learn things when I ask viewers for their opinions. 75$ helmet only had foam and plastics liner so it won't bounce around on your head. 300$ has what you need for your safety. Empack is above ear and back of head 55% area from the bottom of helmet to top center. The 300$ one fits you best.

The only thing that changed is Amazon had a sale and the $300 one was $240 and in a nice blue color so I returned the more expensive one and got same protection with blue helmet! I bought some red and yellow reflective tape for added visibility in day and headlight reflection at night. Thanks so much for your comment. As you can see I really care about brain / head protection and I’m happy you spent the time to let me know you liked the $300 model too. Do you bike a lot? Road bike, mountain or E-bike? @animaldonut sir, you are quite welcome. Yes, I am a full-time bike security officer, and I do ride road bikes on my off days. I think you made a good choice on your purchase 300$ before I got big into riding. I used to say what the heck does it do ? Know I'm just like, does it fit? Is it breathable? Does it look like I have a mellon on my head or a helmet. The helmet I wear is a Cannondale road bike helmet it doesn't have all the nooks and crannies, but it has mips and fits and protects my head. And it has proven that several times.
@@grimispotato245 wow thank you for telling me about your uses. As a bike security officer your bike and helmet are a part of your job. It makes sense to own quality because you are on that bike hours a day. When you said your helmet has proven it protects your head several times, have you fallen off your bike or been in a bike or car accident where you needed the helmet as protection? If so, can you share any info about whether the mips system helped protect you from concussion or head injury? Your comments are very much appreciated, sir. @animaldonut oh no ! Sadly, no, the helmets that were supplied by my job got dumped. They were ugly unsafe and nasty, and the bike's were heavy and also unsafe. My bike basically all my gear and bike stuff all my own except the uniform. Oh, by the way, you mentioned hi visibility. Oh yes, I'm all for that. I use bubble lites one blink the other constantly on. I wear a full reflective vest, and my backpack has reflective tape. Sadly, it's not sold anymore.

@@animaldonut absolutely! Anything is usually better than nothing and choice-supportive bias is a real thing. It's also worth remembering that helmets are "one time use" and after a couple of years they need replacing regardless :)
Bought myself a GIRO BEXLEY for my Stromer ST7 speedpedelec. The GIRO BEXLEY has led lights at the back, it's reflective on both sides and it has ear covers the wil help reduce wind noise.
Nice! That was such a comfortable helmet - I really liked the feel. Also, the protection in the back of the helmet was really good. It looks like it protects the back of the head well.
