At first I thought it was kinda unnecessary since we already got his origin but I enjoyed this expanded version of why he became a robin and not a Bat and then his relationship with the Darkest Knight mirroring the classic Batman and Robin
4:32. 2 things 1) this has already happened to animal man and 2) the son of animal man is dead. plus he can regenerate from a single part of his body (all happened in his series of the new 52)

What's funny anout the Robin King's origin is kind of like Batman's silver age origins. I remeber someone mentioned an issue where Bruce Wayne took the identity of Robin before he was Batman.

What seems strange to me is that in his world the herues were already stable and in their classic ages but Robin King is still a child
