Hi, I have 2 ISP separate if one goes down other ISP should work but not happening now, one is Leased Line other is Broad Band with Static IP, Leased line once come back it will work single, broad band which we took is not working by default can you help on this

I tried DHCP then static route - no internet. All my interfaces were set and policy object too and still no access to internet.

Please I need your help I have been trying to block Psiphon VPN in the forti to no avail. It's showing blocked but I can still install and connect.
I'm trying to evaluation license and neither my implicit deny or other policies work. They just flash red when I create one, what am I doing wrong?

Hello, Thanks for your videos I want to know if this setup will work if my VPN Firewall/Router WAN connection is using 4G (SIM Card) keeping in mind that ISP provides only privet addresses (no real IP address) for devices connecting over 4G
Can i install fortigate firewall like sophos on my intel hardware at my home lab?
i have 2 private subnets in AWS.
the first one have connection to the internet while the 2nd subnet cannot.
what should i check in Fortigate GUI to solve this issue?

create a blacklist web rating override and of all websites. only whitelist the few you specified.

Came here cos my 100E 'myseriously' lost connectivity to a fibre optic connection. I'm thinking its one of the disgruntled staff/company that tried to access into my 100E. I saw an attempted but failed unauthorised login 2 months ago. The last time I contacted the company was in June and did not require them to log in. Very suspicious. The login even showed the sys engineers email address. Hopefully its an ISP related issue and NOT because of that, it very very fishy
*The admin account has been deleted or renamed. I cannot reset the password because I do not know the name of the current account. how do i solve it.*

when I connect the cable from my laptop to port 1 Fortigate I don't get the IP. so I can't enter the 192.168.1.99 browser. is there any solution?
you have to change quad 4 to 98-- 97.... anything by 99. Its in the internet options
Mac is a PITA
Set a static IP address on your laptops Ethernet interface as 192.168.1.2 (or something other than 192.168.1.99), and set your subnet mask as 255.255.255.0. Also, when typing in your ip address in to your browser, be sure to type "" (i.e. 192.168.1.99). On my macbook, I also had to change my DNS to 192.168.1.99, but had no such trouble on a windows laptop.
