One note I've just found out from official quick guide video from Staresso - you can use the pump handle as a tamper - it's perfect size for the basket. Genius!
I was kind of bumped out when I realized that the scoop doesn't have any place to be stored - it doesn't fit into the machine and not even into the carry case. And I was feeling like, yeah I will loose it sooner or later and then what? But then I found out about the pump handle and not only it put my mind at rest , it even made me appreciate the design even more. The scoop is just a bonus, one can live without it, the handle actually fits the basket better and you can always use spoon to fill in the grounds.

I wonder why it says illy is incompatible. Their capsules are aluminum and similar to peets. If anything, I'd be wary of the dunkin or cafe bustello (nespresso compatible) capsules as they are in plastic
