- This was one of the coolest days ever in my career. Savage Garden were about to take the world by storm, but before they set out on a tour they did a milk run visiting radio stations around North America with a full band and gear to do extended interview/performance sessions.
That meant taking over our lunch room for the day for an hour long unplgugged performance and then hanging out with the staff. The band (not Daniel and Darren, but rather Anna, Ben, and the others) would become friends staying at my house on subsequent trips, me at theirs down in LA. On later tours we'd meet up for drinks and now nearly 30 years later I'm still in touch through social media.
Easily one of the best days ever.
This interview includes exclusive unplugged performances of Truly Madly Deeply, I Want You, To The Moon and Break Me Shake Me.
