Amazing rendition. I may be weird, but I wouldn’t mind living next-door to the Clampetts. They are the most decent kind TV family ever and I wouldn’t mind Granny’s cooking either. I guess my parents raise me to be more understanding and loving towards people.
that's a super awesome microphone. it makes her banjo sound so much like the original recordings its unreal. Of course it might be her playing too. lol
I was just smiling the whole time. Well done, that banjo rings out so much like the original sound. She always looks so modest while she kills with a mean banjo!!! Earl would have to be proud.
I love this boy's voice. I am used to hearing the original version and his voice is so different from the original singer it's almost like hearing a new song. He is a marvellous talent. His voice is so beautiful and pure. He is a true star in the making.
I'm just learning the Banjo, and of all the covers I have seen, you are the best. Earl would be proud. It's the song, I think, that makes us want to play the Banjo 😀
Y'all done a great job with this song. I give y all a 9.8 out of 10!!!! Listening to it a 2nd time, I probably put the grade too low. I changed it to a 9.95 out of 10!!!!!
Great performance. Although in my country, Costa Rica, Central America, is almost impossible to ear the Banjo sound like Marteka and William does, I really enjoy their ability and excellence to play, congratulations!!!!
Un-touched by peer-group pressure, how refreshing. I would like to hear the wee lass sing more often. Maybe she could singer/songwrite some Bluegrass of her own, that would be something ...
Awesome! In color and HD too. The background was different than the Shrugs video, but not bad. Thank you. The Ballad of Jed Clampett is still one of my bluegrass song.
You folks do an outstanding job of channeling the spirits of Flatt & Scruggs. Just kidding about the 'channeling' part, I'm a Christian and know that's not what God allows, but you two are REALLY something special, no doubt about it. Thanks for posting your wonderful performances.
Mighty fine, Mighty fine!!!!. Marketa, I see, plays drop thumb style like the old time banjo pickers and Earl Scruggs. William, it looks like you play the way Lester Flatt did by picking two strings, one bass with your thumb, and one higher note with a finger, then a chord. Am I seeing that correctly? Y'all are quite an act. I think my favorite of all I've seen of your trio is "Petticoat Junction." Thanks for the music. I'll be keeping up with any new postings.
What did yall use to learn this because I have the first part of the melody down but the video im watching skipped over the first half of the second part
Amazing rendition. I may be weird, but I wouldn’t mind living next-door to the Clampetts. They are the most decent kind TV family ever and I wouldn’t mind Granny’s cooking either. I guess my parents raise me to be more understanding and loving towards people.
One of the best renditions of the Ballad of Jed Clampett since Lester and Earl back in the 1960s.Great playing!
That banjo was flawless! Yee-ha!
that's a super awesome microphone. it makes her banjo sound so much like the original recordings its unreal. Of course it might be her playing too. lol
This young man's voice is so original and country without being the stereotyped as hillbilly. Awesome!!!!!
I was just smiling the whole time. Well done, that banjo rings out so much like the original sound. She always looks so modest while she kills with a mean banjo!!! Earl would have to be proud.
She was very good on the banjo

Wow. Took me nine years to find this. But well worth the wait. Hope everybody is doing well a decade later.
Banjo, guitar and upright bass. Just great.
Love hearing these two play, they are not afraid, even proud of, keeping the "old" style alive! Bless you all!
Marteka, you are cute as a button girl. You play that effortlessly. Fantastic job!
Fantastic version, thanks for sharing
Loooooooove that Banjo! great sound. she made it look so easy.❤
I'm just learning the Banjo, and of all the covers I have seen, you are the best. Earl would be proud. It's the song, I think, that makes us want to play the Banjo 😀
