- Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo arrive at the European premiere of Thomas Crown Affair. As with other Edinburgh Film Festival galas, this 1999 premiere was at the Odeon cinema on Clerk Street. Also, appearing are a number of entertainers from Scotland and South of the border. The Odeon cinema, which opened in 1930 closed in 2003 and at time of writing campaigners are trying to stop its conversion into a boutique hotel. More at edinburghguide.com/tags/film

This was a great film
i loved that movie! it was far better than the 1968 movie with steve mcqueen, even though the movie was filmed in my hometown boston.
