What I find the most incredible is how the 'cheap' stuff in Japan puts most 'higher quality' things anywhere else, to total shame! I admire the amount of care and attention they put into everything, especially with the 'cheap' stuff. If all of humanity worked like this (in this one regard, not getting into the politics of japan plz and thx) then we really would be living in a much more ideal world, where being 'poor' doesn't meant you get treated with less dignity or respect or things have to be dirty. Thx Japan for showing the world how it CAN be done
the trains around here in germany even downgrade every year because people seem to destroy everything so the lower the cost the better... i need to drive by train every morning and every single day my ''coccyx??/tailbone'' goes to sleep at least 3 times leaving me with the ability to barely even walk because STANDING is more comfortable than sitting down in those trains... its rediculous. you also cant even touch anything because everything is either broken or dirty...

I've grown to really feel great affection for Japan. As a driver/guide in Scotland I find Japanese people to be so polite, respectful and humourous. It's always a pleasure to take them on tours. Would love to visit Japan someday.
I've worked in hotels in Scotland, and you're right about the Japanese. Chinese guests, on the other hand...
@@nkt1 I have a friend who's family moved to the USA from China when he was like 3 and he used to run a couple AirBNBs before CVD, he complained the most about Chinese guests as they tended to be the most rude, acting the most entitled, and just because of his name would constantly assume that he was fluent in their language wasting time with him having to remind them to use English when contacting him.
@@zerrodefex Yeah, that was my experience, rude and entitled. And never, ever, any tips.
It always astounds me how clean, stylized & organized everything is in Japan. How advanced their infrastructure is. Just all around really cool to see.
It always astounds me how much I overestimated how great America was growing up. I was taught about how Japan has an aging population but no one ever taught me about the old fuckers running our government like a used car lot

Japan is a well developed country.I have seen many other developed countries but there's something different in Japan which makes it very beautiful than the others. The people are very well behaved and polite. It's also very clean. I would like to visit Japan atleast once.

That's what happens when you reset a country from the ground up
Japan is all sorts of whack but in a good way.
@@cowl6867 You can 'reset' a lot of places, and they'll stay in the gutter. Japan has a distinct and advanced culture that helped it thrive.
Once wouldn‘t be enough I can guarantee that
I've spent a month there (two 2-week trips) and I'm not satisfied yet, I'm stuck with a permanent urge and crippling desire to return every day.
i really want to go to Japan one day. it seems like it's a great mix of rich culture and advanced technology all packed onto a few islands 😸
Japan is 30 years ahead of the rest of the world. I would love to visit.

30 years ahead in terms of inflation and the work-life balance being skewed as well. These people have to work a lot to receive very little pay. Very high suicide rates for a reason.

That's why I love Japan! Beautiful country, everything is clean and tidy and works perfectly !! The most worthy of respect is the character of the people! Hardworking, respectful and perfectionist. My love and respect from Greece!
Agree with very beautiful country and has a lot of positive people
But they also have strict rules not everything is perfect. People their work their ass off. Over work etc. is common there.
@@madara3278 yes but there’s a reason to it. Japan is still an emerging and mainly self sustainable economy, meaning it mainly rely on its
labour to generate its income hence the overworking and excess workload. But at least the peoples work is evident and they get to enjoy the fruits of their labour as their country is truly amazing in many ways.
@@commoq3764 Japanese would probably benefit if they could trade some of their material wealth away for a more human-centric society. Same is true of the US I think, but not quite to the same degree, although many countries are headed in the way of Japan and US with regard to loneliness and isolation. Look at loneliness and suicide metrics. I don’t see how that’s necessary or how it’s justified by the fact they are less supported by natural resources.
But I only know the tiniest fraction of all the things there are to know, and maybe you know something I don’t.
Also, I’m not knocking Japan, I’m sure it is very wonderful in many respects and that many people thrive there.
