    The thing I like about being in Australia is that these summer videos will still be here ready for me to watch again whenever I'm ready when it is summer, plus the bonus of seeing how other people's summer went to learn from for mine

    I unplugged from the internet for more than a year. Came back because I needed help with writing my book. To be honest, I forgot about this channel and searched on youtube for help. I got ideas yet still lead me not very far. Because I was subscribed to your channel, YT recommended this video today, and I was so excited! You helped me start writing in the first place. I am thrilled to see you go through the OG stages again, as I am currently there now. Also thrilled to hear where you have been over this past year and what you've accomplished so far. Congratulations are surely in order, yes writing several books has got to be refreshing, yet your still doing the hard work.
    Much Love as your the best channel for writing advise on UA-cam,
    ~*Shana, family of 5.

    I love that you address teachers. Ive tried quarterly planning, but it always gets messed up by the school year. Instead, this year, I've decided to plan in trimesters. Summer, fall semester, spring semester. It makes the year nice and neat.

    • @suzisaintjames
      @suzisaintjames 4 місяці тому +1

      I was thinking that your trimester planning would work soooo well for anyone who has someone in school as summer life is so different from the rest of the year... even our bed times are different. And college life really changes from semester to semester as some classes require more outside classroom work than others. 💖🌞🌵😷

    • @dianawelch399
      @dianawelch399 4 місяці тому +1

      @suzisaintjames The thing that I've found is that the quarters feel weird to me. July 1 is the middle of my off time, not a beginning feeling. Jan 1 is still a beginning feeling because of the new semester, but may is an ending and August is a beginning. The thirds work well for planning things like holidays and shopping too. It didn't make sense to me to split my summer in half.

      @@dianawelch399 , sarra always says take what works for you and leave the rest.
      After college, I always worked in accounting which revolves around taxes (quarterly business taxes). So quarterly business planning totally works for my mind. But with school out for summer, it just wasn't meshing. After reading your comment and thinking back to a time when things were meshing, trimester planning is where I'm going for my personal life. Thanks, you made a difference. Sending lots of love 💖 from sunny 🌞 Arizona 🌵. Take care of yourself and each other 😷.

    I would love it if you could do a video on how you decide on the titles for your novels. I see that you know the titles years in advance of finishing them in many cases. I am working on the third act of my first novel for self publishing (and yes, I took the Publish & Thrive last year and will be reviewing it again in the coming weeks) but I still don't have a title for my novel. I have a list of six or seven potential titles but I'm not in love with any of them. How do you figure it out? I'd love a deep dive video on this topic. Thanks!

    At the beginning of Q2 my main project was to finish my rough draft. Now I honestly don't know if its going to happen, especially since I'm having an unplanned knee surgery in the middle of the month, but laying it out like you do in this video did gives me some hope that maybe I won't complete my project exactly when I was hoping I will still be able to make good progress. Thank you so much as always for being a rock star! Also, are you running P&T in July? Or did I get that wrong?

    Sarra I love your content I need a bit of advise about editing. Is Beta Readers or Ream good place to start when starting to start have my next book edited professionally. I'm on a tight budget but would like an editor to proof read it and go over the story to make sure that it based accurately of as it is written based on and around when we had lockdown because of COVID.
