ReLly enjoyed this review Deano, I think it’s one the best I’ve watched on the Pan America especially the road test and the perspective used, makes me want to go and take one for a test run. Looking forward to the big reveal to come in the next vid
Wow that looked so much fun, made me feel like when i was younger and had sports bikes, only got rid of my Aprilia a year ago so i keep the sporty side for quite a while but will never go back as you just cant beat the touring bike now im at a later stage. Thanks Deano brilliant as always. TJ
Glad you finally got to take one out. Now you've been on it do you have a view whether you could do long distance touring on it ? The big announcement has me a little intrigued, guess we will see in the next few days. Cheers !
thats because it is a special, but the special and only the special can be optioned with the lowering suspension because for the fancy suspension to work it needs the Showa electronic suspension, which the special has, and the one in this video has too The standard 1250 has manually adjustable front Showa forks and manual rear preload.@@Protector64
I see you ride it quite aggressively. I test rode one and found the clutch very sticky. I kept stalling it on takeoff. Couldn't get a good feel of the friction zone on this one and had to rev the hell out of it to get it going. Gears were hard to change because felt like my foot wouldn't fit properly under the shifter, kind of wedged up against the frame. Takes some time to get used to I guess. But I do like the bike.
It did take me a while to get used the clutch & shifter after my Street Glide. I find when the bike is cold the clutch is sticky but once it’s warmed up she’s all good. I know what you mean about the gears, I do prefer my Street Glide heel shifter compared to the Pan Am shifter. I’m getting used to it now. The one I rode in this video had a High Flow exhaust fitted, it had plenty of get up & go.
Im buying one soon Mate... fricken beauuuuutiful bike
Good choice, enjoy👍

All will be revealed, not to long to go👍
Top Bike, i own one, that ist a special , i think so😊
I found out from the dealer, this bike had spoke wheels put on it. No automatic ride height. I ended up buying a special in my next video 😎
Intresting, a steering damper too, everything the special have.

Do you know if they fixed the radiator hose problem? Was to close to the exhaust in the first models
I’m not sure, I’ve watched a lot of videos & they do a have a few issues being a new model.
Yes, fixed.
