Love these videos! Very down to earth and the content is exactly what you need to assess the island again. Came to Skiathos first in 2004 then again in 2006, 2008, 2014, 2015 & 2018. Going again next month and just wondered what changes to expect this time! Every time I've been, although the island is still one of the best Greek island, I think Mamma Mia did it no favours. I saw prices increase unnecessarily and large corporates sucking the life out of the small individual businesses that made the island what it was. Many venues now seem to think they have to make places have a more "boutique" feel to cater for all the people that come on the back of the film. The Island should remain much more "rough and ready" in my opinion.

Hi Andy and thanks for your comment and question , the raddison is 600m which is an 8 minute walk from bus stop 12😄 or you can get the water taxi from town which is great !😌 Have a great time on the island
Great video mate, very informative, I might of missed it but could you tell me what time of year you were there please, we are going this July staying at skiathos blue, we are going with elderly (but quite fit) parents. Hope the road you walked from the beach isn't to steep?
Hello Cris. We were there in May when this was filmed. Beginning of the season. we've also been in September. Parts of the area are quite steep. and some are not too bad

We went in September 2022 and realy liked it but for some reason we just didn't get the same welcome feeling which was a bit sad ,
