No. Dupe doesn't effect on damage. On dupe his vigilance buff reduces Opponent's Armor ability to -100%. His dupe ability is useful to bypass ARMORS like red skull's Armor too.
Gladiator feels safer with better utility, for that reason i think he is better.

When reaching 25 confidence charges we not looses confidenceby hitting. if we knocked down on 25 confidence we lossees
